Sales with Ahora 12 grew 78% in 2022

During the 12 months of 2022, the volume of sales made through the Ahora 12 Program grew by 78% year-on-year compared to the same period in 2021. In total, 78.5 million transactions were completed, for a total of $1,681,915 billion.

These data arise from the Monitoring Report prepared by the National Directorate of Policies for the Internal Market, of the Secretariat of Commerce of the Ministry of Economy of the Nation.

According to the report, in December 8.6 million operations were carried out (39% more than in November) for $213,684 million (17% more than the previous month. The average ticket was $24,827).

The end-of-year celebrations boosted both billing and operations in areas such as Clothing, Footwear and Leather Goods, Tourism, Toys and Board Games and Perfumery.

The items with the highest sales in December (% share according to billing) were: Clothing (36%), Appliances (23%), and Construction Materials (7%).

Regarding the relevance of these indicators, Fabián Tarrío, director of CAME's Commerce and Services sector, states: "The results show that, beyond the changes in its application modality, Ahora 12 remains a tool that contributes to the stimulation of consumption and sales in local businesses. At CAME we closely follow its evolution and performance, in order to guarantee its usefulness for both merchants and consumers."
