Under the commitment to bring the best technology closer to the Argentine market, ETTOCOR-SOLNIK, the national holding company dedicated to the consumer electronics industry, consolidates its Strategic Alliance with Xiaomi and continues to expand its presence in the local market.

In 2017, when both companies decide to link commercially, the project advanced in a firm pace, providing brand fans in our country the opportunity to access the same products available in other geographies. Currently, we are facing a new milestone: together they presented the iconic serie Redmi Note 13, which includes a model manufactured at the Etter-Solnik plant located in the province of Tierra del Fuego.

The series Redmi Note 13 includes important Improvements in the camera system, design, screen and processor. In this way, it continues to close the gap between the intelligent phones of medium and high range, offering exceptional durability, a fantastic experience and an impressive image capacity, all at very competitive prices.

"We are happy to continue developing our strategic alliance with Xiaomi, one of the most important technology companies in the world. More than 7 years of success support the strength of this partnership, consolidating us in the manufacturing and distribution of its products and bringing global technology closer to Argentines. Every day we take a step forward to continue strengthening this relationship, which means that fans of the brand in Argentina continue to be able to access their most desired products"said C.arlos Osamiz, CEO of Etercor.

In May 2022, Etercor-Solnik opened Xiaomi's first physical store, located in Abasto Shopping, and the first online store of the brand xiaomistore.com.ar, a crucial step that allowed the brand's innovative products to be brought even closer to local consumers. The expansion continued in August of the same year, when it began to produce locally, in its plant located in Tierra del Fuego, equipped with cutting-edge technology and significant capacity to produce large volumes with high quality standards in all its processes. The base model of the Redmi Note 13 series is produced there.

The growth didn't stop there. In December 2023, two new physical stores were inaugurated - located in Unicenter Shopping and Las Palmas de Pilar -, demonstrating the commitment to the Argentine market and the growing demand for Xiaomi products. Now, in a new stage of expansion, they are expanding their range of products and reaffirming their determination to continue investing and developing new businesses in the country, even in challenging contexts. The dedication of both companies has allowed Argentina to present products that are simultaneously presented in the rest of the world, but produced locally. This ensures the brand's value proposition, of offering the best cutting-edge technology at the best price, such as its emblem of honest prices.

According to Canalys, a major market analysis company specialized in technology, Xiaomi achieved a global market share that makes it the third most important brand in cell phones. This same situation is replicated in Latin America. This success can be attributed both to the characteristics of its products with high-end specifications and competitive prices, as well as to the strong investment it makes in the region for the localization of its products and services. The launch of the Redmi Note 13 Series tends to further strengthen Xiaomi's position in the Latin American market.

"It is very challenging for us to be part of Xiaomi's expansion in the Latin American market. It motivates us to continue investing in our country and create new businesses to generate new opportunities"he added Carlos Osamiz, CEO of Etercor.
