Artefacta 2026: the first furniture, mattress and design fair that guarantees the presence of large national chains

From June 29 to July 1, the Yellow Pavilion of La Rural will host the first edition of an event that was born with a unique advantage in the sector: a consolidated professional audience, VIP buyers and visitors from all over the country from the first day.

The world of home has a new appointment on the calendar. Artefacta: Furniture, Mattresses and Design arrives in 2026 as a new B2B event in the country dedicated to this universe of products, with a proposal that seeks to differentiate itself in the sector based on a key asset: the guarantee of attendance.

The reason is specific. Artefacta will be held simultaneously with the 6th edition of Electronics & Home Argentina, the leading B2B meeting in the field of household items, which after five editions has an established flow of professional buyers, retailers from the main national chains and distributors from all provinces who travel especially to La Rural to close agreements.

That circuit, now consolidated, is the one that Artefacta will also travel. This is what makes this event something unprecedented for the sector: a fair that in its first edition has already guaranteed the presence of the public that matters most to an exhibitor.

Much more than furniture and mattresses

Although the name anticipates the anchor categories, Artefacta covers a considerably broader spectrum of home furnishings. Throughout its three days, the Yellow Pavilion will bring together exhibitors of furniture, mattresses, lighting and accessories, bazaar, decoration, home textiles and travel accessories, among other items.
The proposal aims to bring together in the same property everything that ends up in the shelves and showrooms of businesses throughout the country. For a professional buyer, that means being able to resolve in three days what would otherwise involve months of meetings, trips and scattered procedures.

"Artefacta emerges as a concrete response to what we identified at Electronics & Home: the home segment had reached a dimension that justified its own event. But behind it there is also a conviction: in a context where everything has migrated to digital, we continue to believe that the face-to-face meeting between manufacturers and professional buyers is irreplaceable. See the product, evaluate the quality, meet the supplier. That is not replicated on a screen", expresses Juan Cruz Grondona, commercial director of Electronics & Home Argentina and Artefacta.

"Argentina has industry and has high-level products, and those products deserve to be shown. With the experience we have in organizing wholesale fairs, at Artefacta we build an environment where distributors, wholesalers and resellers arrive with concrete purchasing decisions, and exhibitors find the commercial channel they need to grow.“Adds Grondona.

In addition, it leaves a look that summarizes the change in the market: "Today the challenge for any company in the channel is not only to have a good product, but to ensure that it is where the business happens. In an increasingly competitive environment, showing itself and generating direct contact with buyers is part of the strategy. In that sense, Artefacta becomes a key space for those seeking to gain real visibility within the channel and not be left out of purchasing decisions."

National reach and regional projection

The fair not only aims at the Buenos Aires market. The Electronics & Home Argentina call historically brought together businessmen and buyers from all over the country, and Artefacta inherits that federal reach from the start. For a manufacturer or a brand that wants to get its products to interior businesses, three days in the Yellow Pavilion is equivalent to a concentrated national tour.

The event will also have a program of talks and conferences where sector leaders will analyze the transformations in the industry: changes in design and production, new consumer demands and commercial opportunities for manufacturers and distributors.

The proposal is completed with an active B2C communication strategy throughout the year, which will amplify content, trends and news in the sector beyond the dates of the event.
