Philips Domestic Appliances bets on national production as part of its growth strategy in the country
The company announces the local manufacturing of glass blenders and hand blenders, in addition to the recently launched planetary blenders.

Philips Domestic Appliances announces the national production of glass blenders and hand blenders as part of its growth plans in Argentina. The Philips brand appliance business, which was acquired by the global investment firm Hillhouse Capital, aims to triple the business in our country by 2025 and is committed to national production and the expansion of its portfolio.
Philips Domestic Appliances includes kitchen, coffee, laundry and home appliances. Since 2021 it belongs to the global investment firm Hillhouse Capital. In our country, the brand is a leader in food preparation.
The firm, which recently announced the national manufacturing of its new line of planetary blenders, now has five models of hand blenders and three models of glass blenders. The products are manufactured at Aladdin SRL, in José León Suárez, province of Buenos Aires. The plant employs 90 people and also manufactures griddles, kettles, processors, hand mixers and planetary mixers.
"Our growth plans in Argentina include the local manufacturing of household appliances and the development of new categories, such as the line of Series 7000 Planetary Blenders, which are the first of national production on the market. We are also betting heavily on our Airfryers that allow gratin, baking, grilling and frying with air, reducing the use of oil; and we have important plans for our line of coffee makers," said Pía Reyes, Sales Leader of Philips Domestic Appliances.
For his part, Federico Bunse, Marketing & Trade Shopper Marketing Leader at Philips Domestic Appliances, commented: "The pandemic boosted cooking at home, generating a significant impact on food preparation products such as blenders, hand blenders, mixers and processors, as well as other products linked to coffee consumption. In 2021 we had good results and in 2022 we have great projects on the way."
