THE MEETING POINT OF THE SECTOR
With more than 350 national and international brands, more than 1500 products in different categories, more than 6000 qualified attendees and 5000 m² of exposure space, the fourth edition of Electronics Home Argentina was consolidated as the open B2B event and more convening of the headquarters, household items, cell phones, computer science, gaming, TV and audio, furniture and bazaar, mattresses and mobility of Argentina.
Organized by Electolar and Blue Play Group, the event widely exceeded the expectations and calls for its previous edition. During three days of exhibition, carried out in Pavilion 5 of the Costa Salguero Center, the most important manufacturers, distributors and importers of the durable consumer goods sector of Argentina exhibited the most recognized brands nationally and internationally, presenting its latest innovations and technologies. It was a unique event for the meeting and relationship of entrepreneurs, professionals in the sector, of the corporate market and merchants, which enabled strategic alliances and new businesses.
An event, multiple spaces
This year, Electronics Home gave the attendees a more complete experience in terms of format, with an integrative platform that included a cycle of talks, exclusive spaces for special launches, products activations and welcome cocktail.

After the success of this year, the fifth edition already has a date: on June 30, July 1 and 2 at the Costa Salguero Center, and will be part of a triathlon of fairs that Electolar Group will carry out in three important cities such as San Pablo, Mexico City and Buenos Aires.

Maximiliano Signorelli, Marketing Director of Argentina, provided his conference "democratizing access to technology." He spoke about the importance of innovation and connectivity in the home: “In Hisense, all our products are designed with advanced connections. Our operating system, the highest growth in 2023, has become the most used in the market, offering an unique user experience. In addition, our Connect Life application allows intelligently managing the home from the cell phone, connecting appliances such as refrigerators, air. washing machine ”.


Milagros Bin / Retail Manager of GfK
Milagros Bin, Retail Manager of GfK, the leading market analysis consultancy, spoke about “Results and trends of the home appliance market in Argentina.” In his talk he described some data on the sector: “In the electro market, two sales channels predominate, hypermarkets and specialists.” And he highlighted: “Although smartphones suffered a 49.5% drop in sales, more models were sold.” And he added that “the Hot Sale was the week with the highest growth of the year, with + 8%.” Regarding the consumer, he stated that “65% of people change recognized brands for less expensive ones, and 22% of users buy in bulk to obtain discounts.”

Néstor Alayon, Marketing Consultant specialized in the Retail channel, gave a talk on "E-commerce and Digital Marketing Tools for Online Stores and presentation of the online book Marketing in Times of Crisis. He spoke about the importance of tools like AI and chatbots for e-commerce: "They are a very necessary and wonderful tool. 40% of the answers provided by Mercado Libre are written by a chatbot. It must be programmed and nourished every day with new information for it to work well." He also said that today's consumers are characterized by being "anxious, comfortable, they have a high purchase expectation, they are impatient, ambitious and demanding."

Camila Nasir, Brand and Communication Manager of Tiendanube Argentina, spoke about “E-commerce trends in the Electronics and Home category.” He highlighted that e-commerce, in the electronics and home vertical market, has been growing year after year and is one of the fastest growing. Regarding the main e-commerce trends for 2024, he analyzed that artificial intelligence, logistics and payments, integration with social networks and omnichannel are what are making the difference and the way forward.

Atma, the leading brand that offers a wide range of kitchen, home, refrigeration, air conditioning and personal care products, carried out the exclusive launch of the Air Fryer, with the live presence of chef Gabo Colacioppo.
Hisense
The Hisense brand made an exclusive presentation for customers at its stand, in which they announced upcoming launches, including a 100-inch television, an impressive visual experience with cutting-edge technology, and the 4-door refrigerator with a 24-inch touch screen.
