Argentine talent today has great global recognition in terms of design. Peabody's eTermo won the RED DOT 2022 award; in 2 of its categories: Appliances and Innovative products. And he did it by working as a team, adding views, will, enthusiasm and pondering his three main management pillars: quality, design and innovation. Peabody is the first Argentine appliance company to obtain this recognition.

The RED DOT, founded in 1955, is the most internationally recognized award that distinguishes the winner for their quality and design. The Red Dot Design Awards are given once a year. A jury of 50 international experts from various fields: specialized journalists, designers, architects and professors recognized the brand's audacity for finding innovation in something so deeply rooted in the national culture and thus highlighted the Peabody eTermo.

The award ceremony will take place from June 20 to 24 in the town of Essen (Germany), where the exhibition of the winners will also take place at the RED DOT Design Museum.

The history of this product was born with the result of the first Argentine design contest held by the brand in 2017. Then the creation of eTermo was undertaken with the collaboration of the xCruza studio, with the aim of redefining and renewing the experience of this popular infusion, integrating design, technology and tradition.

The eTermo is a thermos that accompanies the mate lover wherever they go. It is a combination between an electric jug and a traditional thermos, but with a completely careful aesthetic, as well as a multiple color proposal that distinguishes it.

Until eTermo, to drink mate you needed to heat the water in a kettle and pour it into a thermos to preserve the temperature. The eTermo integrates all the elements and functions for the preparation of mate: it heats and maintains the water, it has a lid that functions as a thermal and mate glass, and a light bulb that is incorporated into the handle.
