GDN Argentina, the head of the Changoma Supermarket chains (former Walmart) announced the designation of Guido Di Risio as Marketing Director, directly reporting to Matias Grondona, general manager of the firm.
Di Risio (in the main photo) has a degree in Advertising (UCES), with an MBA at the University of CEMA, and has more than 20 years of experience leading local and regional teams in the mass consumption industry, in the development and positioning of leading brands and product innovation.
Di Risio will have the responsibility of leading a team with the aim of publicizing the value proposition of the new family of hyper changomas, changomas, super changomas and wholesale point, within the framework of a process of transformation with the purpose of improving the quality of life of customers and communities, creating relevant experiences with honest brands.
One year of transformation
After the acquisition of Walmart's local operation by the Narváez group, the GDN Argentina company ended the transformation and value stage of the 29 Walmart branches that it has throughout the country under the new identity of Híper Changomas.
In this way, the retail chain consolidates its multiformat proposal with the focus on contributing to improving the quality of life of customers and communities, creating relevant experiences with honest brands.
The transformation process of the company initiated in September 2021 is part of an ambitious investment plan of US $120 million in three years, with which GDN Argentina seeks to build stronger communities, transform its proposal for value and infrastructure of IT processes, as well as create new and better opportunities for their collaborators, suppliers and small regional producers.
Everything will occur under a new family of brands: hyper changomas, changomas, super changomas, wholesale point and 321+, among others.
