Red Hogarnet held its 12th meeting
Hogarnet held its 12th edition, with the participation of more than 300 member companies. Integración Magazine spoke with Marcelo Bordoy, head of the Network.

The past April 17 and 18, Red Hogarnet held its 12th edition, with the participation of more than 300 member companies, who gathered to work intensely, in a year that is presented as a great challenge, as stated by its director, Marcelo Bordoy.
The meeting took place at Pilar Sheraton Hotel (Buenos Aires) and was attended by 90 suppliers willing to take on the challenge, presenting their offers in full, with a great display of stands, and news, resulting in a total attendance of more than 1650 people.
They developed three outstanding talks on current events in the sector, which covered a total of four hours of intensive work and provided valuable information to the audience present: the firm BGH, with Santiago Martínez, commercial director of the company; Newsan, with the outstanding presence of its CEO, Luis Galli; and the MABE Drean firm, with an integrated team Sergio Fernández, Buenos Aires sales manager and Alejandro Romano, Interior sales manager.
The 2024 edition made it possible once again to gain traction among the parties, achieving the expected results. It is also important to highlight the support of its main sponsors, prominent companies in the sector such as Avelino, Gani, Newsan and BGH.
With sunny days, the participants enjoyed the expected outdoor lunches in the hotel park. Likewise, the closing cocktail of the activity, which allowed the tasting of delicacies, the enjoyment of a special space and atmosphere for the occasion, travel giveaways sponsored by Newsan, and a warm general toast.
The organization of the meeting was once again in charge of the consulting firm Eventear, under the direction of Adriana Cichini, achieving together an event that met the highest quality standards that have distinguished it over the years.
Hogarnet celebrates its new “objective achieved” and reaffirms more than ever, the commitment to continue adding value with its services.
Integración Magazine spoke with Marcelo Bordoy, Director of Hogarnet, about the achievements of this new meeting.
How are you experiencing the 12th Hogarnet meeting?
Very happy and proud to be the first event of the year, a very special and very important year to work on it, to leave the home office and build with our suppliers, 85 present, and more than 300 clients working, a year where we need to sweat just a little more to reach the results that close us. I believe that we are going down that path, it is very important to work hard, differentiate ourselves, invent, support each other, the supplier in my client, and my client in the supplier, and the results will be given. It's a matter of cheering up and starting.
How do you see participation in general and the expectations of those present in relation to the current context?
We are in Argentina, we cannot ignore the moment we are going through, but the weather is very good, the suppliers are very predisposed to doing business, my clients come for that, they spent many months selling stock, selling the back they had, accustomed to a different billing rate, so they came here with great enthusiasm. So my job is to combine desire with need, and good businesses come out of that.
To conclude, a few words about what this new edition contributed.
As always, we are grateful to the sector, which opened the door for us and allowed us to reach the leadership position among national networks and the market. I leave my best wishes for 2024 in this country that needs a lot of work. We are on that side!

SPRING AIR

Spring Air is an international brand born in 1926, it is the creator, for example, of the pillow top. It is the fourth most important brand in that category in the United States and the number one in Mexico. We licensed the brand and brought it back to the country, which had had a presence in Argentina in the 80s until the end of the 90s.
Currently, we have a productive site in Buenos Aires to start manufacturing the supplies ourselves and making products such as mattresses and box springs, accessories, andtc. We have the objective of being able to offer the Argentine market an international brand in the medium and upper-middle segment with all the support of what a century-old brand represents, and with the processes and quality standards audited by the parent company. We believe there is a space for a brand like this within the category.
Personally, we are two partners, we have been in the category for more than twenty years, and we had already participated with other brands in Hogarnet. For us it is a pleasure to be with Spring Air for the first time at this meeting presenting the brand to the entire market.. We know the vast majority of the partners, we know the channel and we bring good news for the entire sector with this type of products.
As for the shelves, we target the medium and medium-high audience where we have different solutions for almost all types of needs, ranging from cheaper products to high-end products. As a distinctive feature, what we work a lot on is the visual, the presentation of the products, and obviously their quality. And we also point to needs that we detect in the channel that are not yet fully resolved, for example through products such as couches, pillows, and with different accessories that can become an excellent business beyond the typical.

ECOTHERMAL
Ecotermo presented Hogarnet the new Populi Electric Water Heater 53 Lower connection, one more model that joins the family to complete the range, a product that is easy to install, versatile and economical. It comes supplied with hanging accessories and can optionally be supported by purchasing the leg kit. It has a magnesium anode to protect it from corrosion, it has a thermostat to regulate the temperature, an ignition key, a purge cock to eliminate scale, and within the accessories is a relief and retention valve to prevent the resistance from burning due to lack of water. It has a 1-year warranty, the quality and support of Ecotermo.
"We know that it is a tough year, with few sales, so more than ever we want to thank everyone who went to the exhibition and stopped by our stand. It is always positive to talk to colleagues and clients to learn about the reality and needs in different parts of our country," the company commented.

GCA
Ángeles Barboza, Marketing
GCA is a new speaker and bike company. We are at the Hogarnet event presenting all our products: 2 bicycle models: Thor and Zeus, and the new entry is the female model that comes in black with fuchsia. In our bicycle models we want to highlight some features such as Shimano gears, suspension locks and metal pedals.
We are also exhibiting 6 parlantes: Monster, Boom, Strong, Warrior, Flash, Kubox, all models that have advanced audio technology: LED lighting, Bluetooth connectivity, internal battery, and ultra-powerful sound amplification.
Currently, GCA is carrying out a strong campaign at the national level, on large-audience FM programs such as the one in Santiago del Moro, and other actions with recognized influencers.
