OLED stands for “organic light-emitting diode”. This means that each individual pixel that makes up the image lights up. When the TV is turned on, millions of incredibly small, flexible, thin diodes illuminate to create a unique viewing experience. OLED displays lead the industry thanks to pixels that turn on and off on their own without the need for a backlight.
This technology, which LG perfected for years, offers an image that is completely superior to that of LED and LCD screens. With stunning contrast that showcases perfect blacks, lifelike colors, and potential for flexibility and thinness beyond imagination, LG's OLED TV is an example of constant innovation at its finest.
Among its differentials, it has sharper image quality, more defined colors, the best sound technology and artificial intelligence support. All characteristics that position LG as the main supplier of OLED technology in the world.
Dolby Vision technology provides a unique viewing experience, elevating the feeling of realism through audio that flows around and above the viewer. That is, it transforms the environment into an entertainment power, with cinematic HDR images and sound (4K Cinema HDR), which makes it an ideal product for gaming.
Along with OLED technology, LG also adapted the Blade Slim design: the thinnest screen on the market, with ultra-thin edges.

At the last edition of IFA, LG presented several OLED televisions that are revolutionizing the home entertainment experience.
On the one hand, it launched 8K TVs that feature luxurious details and vibrant, lifelike colors, a testament to LG's unrivaled display technology. As the world's first 8K OLED TV, not to mention also the brand's largest OLED TV to date, the 88” LG SIGNATURE OLED 8K TV (model 88Z9), offers 8K Ultra HD resolution (7,680 x 4,320) with 33 million self-emitted pixels, equivalent to 16 times the number of pixels in a Full HD TV and four times that of a UHD TV.
On the other hand, the LG SIGNATURE OLED TV was one of the brand's big launches at IFA. Considered one of the most futuristic technologies in the ultra-competitive world of televisions, LG rollable TVs change size at the touch of a button so you can enjoy an optimal viewing experience. Instead of being a bulky centerpiece, the shade rolls up like a scroll and stores in a minimalist box that blends seamlessly with your home's furnishings.

Today, OLED technology continues to create endless possibilities in the television market, making the seemingly impossible possible. The sky is the limit for OLED TVs. And LG, as the patent holder of this technology, is driving this change.
In Argentina, LG is betting on the 65 and 55'-inch LG Oled TV 4K models with the intention of continuing to bring the best of technological innovation to the TV segment in 2020.
