Industry analysis continues: Artefacta Forum is now on YouTube
The two panels of the first edition of Artefacta Forum can now be seen in full on the Electronics & Home TV YouTube channel, with references who analyzed the challenges, opportunities and trends that today mark the furniture, rest and design industry.
The furniture, rest and design industry was the protagonist of the first Artifacts Forum, a space for analysis and exchange that brought together business leaders, manufacturers, sector leaders and officials to discuss the main challenges and opportunities of the market.

Artefacta Forum was held on June 29, in La Rural, as part of the sixth edition of Electronics & Home Argentina. Moderated by journalist Luciana Arias, the meeting proposed a space for reflection and exchange for the entire value chain, with an agenda focused on competitiveness, financing, the transformation of consumption, the growth of e-commerce, training and new market trends.
Industry overview
The first panel included the participation of representatives from the public and private spheres to analyze the current market situation, the industry's growth prospects and the main challenges to strengthen its competitiveness.
Participating were Mariela Bembi, Undersecretary of Industry and SMEs of the Province of Buenos Aires; Ricardo Sorrentino, president of CAFYDMA and president of Tegnomuebles; Pedro Reyna, vice president of FAIMA, treasurer of CAFYDMA and director of Mobel Art; Hugo Ricciuti, president of CEMA, managing partner and CEO of Indelama S.R.L. and vice president of the Robles Foundation; and Tabita Giménez, head of the Department of the Furniture and Wood Chain of the Ministry of Industry of Misiones.
During the exchange, the panelists agreed on the need to generate better conditions to compete, strengthen access to financing, promote the training of specialized labor and promote policies that accompany the development of the national industry.
Industry voices
The second panel brought together entrepreneurs and representatives of leading companies, who shared their vision about the present and future of the sector. Innovation, the evolution of consumer habits, differentiation, service, the strengthening of retail and the generation of new business opportunities were some of the central axes of the debate.
Participating were Javier Vázquez, president of Springwall and vice president of CAFYDMA; Sebastián Daniele, general manager of Limansky S.A. and Limansky de Uruguay S.A.; Daniel Cwirenbaum, president of Grupo A2; and Gerardo Tabakman, general director (CEO) of Fiplasto and Cuyoplacas.
