Rheem presents its EcoSmart hybrid water heater
The new model combines heat pump and electrical resistance to offer up to 70% energy savings compared to traditional electrical equipment. It offers maximum efficiency: more hot water with less consumption.
Rheem, leader in hot water solutions, adds to its portfolio the EcoSmart hybrid water heater, an innovation that brings together the best of two technologies: the heat pump, which uses the energy of the air to heat water efficiently, and the electric resistance, which ensures hot water at times of higher consumption or low temperatures.
With a 200 liter capacity, it is one of the most efficient water heaters on the market and meets the needs of up to six showers, making it ideal for homes that require a large flow of hot water. Its energy efficiency is Class A++, double polyurethane insulation, long-lasting tank with vitrified enamel and two magnesium anodes.
It has a Coefficient of Performance (COP) of 3.7, which means that for every watt consumed it generates 3.7 watts of thermal energy to heat the water. This translates into greater energy savings and responds to the growing demand for more sustainable products in Argentine homes.
The equipment has an intuitive touch screen and has four operating modes designed to adapt to different use scenarios. In Automatic mode, the system autonomously manages the operation, alternating between the heat pump and the electrical resistance according to demand. Heat Pump mode allows you to operate exclusively with the heat pump, prioritizing energy efficiency, while Assistance uses only the electrical resistance to guarantee the supply of hot water in any circumstance. For its part, Boost mode combines both systems simultaneously, reducing the time needed to heat the water to a minimum.
The EcoSmart is compatible with pressurizing pumps and solar photovoltaic systems, which facilitates its integration into different installations. It is designed to operate all year round, providing comfort, durability and responsible energy consumption.
"With the EcoSmart line we continue to advance in the development of more efficient and sustainable solutions, aimed at promoting a more intelligent use of energy. This proposal reflects our commitment to innovation and the development of technologies that provide real value in terms of hot water", said Dylan Perez Guevara, Product Manager, Rheem.
