Positivo BGH was awarded as the best IT company in Africa, in the “African Award for Merit and Excellence” category for its contribution to the digitalization of Rwanda.

PADEV Kigali 2021 (Prix Africain Du Mérite et de l'Excellence) is an award awarded by ASSOCIATION 225, a group of civil society associations from 12 African countries. Political authorities, diplomats, economic operators, financial institutions and local and international leaders from different sectors were present during the delivery.

Since its arrival in Rwanda, the first country on the continent where it landed, Positivo BGH manufactured tablets, notebooks, access points (which function as routers and servers to connect devices to each other), smart electric meters (smart electricity meters for homes and industries), among other technological products. In this framework, ASSOCIATION 225 highlighted the contribution through its structure to the complete digitalization of Rwanda.

Currently, Positivo BGH has a presence in Rwanda; in Kenya, where in just 3 years of operations it became a leader in the development and integration of educational technologies for public schools throughout the territory; and in Ghana.

In Argentina, the company has extensive experience in developing equipment for the educational system. Today it is a strategic provider of the Juana Manso program, a plan that encompasses connectivity, machinery, a proposal for teacher education and training, and a federal educational platform for free and safe navigation for the country's education.

Positivo BGH is the result of the Joint Venture between Positivo Informática, the largest computer manufacturer in Brazil and No. 1 in educational technologies, and BGH from Argentina, a company with more than 100 years of experience in the production and distribution of technology products and services.
