New CAME calculator for the Cuota Simple program

The Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services (CAME) launched a digital calculator that allows merchants to calculate the costs that apply to a purchase according to the number of installments selected for payment.
On the occasion of the launch of the Cuota Simple program, CAME's Commerce and Services sector and the entity's Statistics department jointly developed a useful tool for the daily management of commerce: a digital calculator that breaks down the costs applied to a purchase according to the number of installments selected for payment.
How does it work?
Step 1: the user must enter the transaction amount (spot price of the product).
Step 2: the second filter is to indicate the number of installments chosen for the purchase (3 or 6). The objective is to apply the corresponding rates and costs.
Step 3: you must indicate the VAT registration condition (Single Taxpayer, Registered Responsible Party or Company). In this way, the merchant will be able to know his VAT position (debits – credits). The VAT credit is not on the Cost of Goods Sold (CMV), but only the withholdings on the financial operation.
Step 4: You must then select the province in which the business operates to apply the Gross Income rate that corresponds by jurisdiction.
Based on the figure entered and the selected categories, the calculator will generate a suggested price that takes into account the rates that the Cuota Simple program charges the business according to those parameters. That is, calculate how much you should charge for the product in order to address:
• Rates of the selected program
• Payment of Gross Income for the operation
• Municipal tax
• VAT position
In this way, the user will always receive the same figure regardless of the applicable term. The calculator will always issue the same suggested price, regardless of the category selected in step 3. The difference is that, if the business is a Registered Responsible Party or Commercial Company, the VAT position will be detailed with respect to the financial costs of the program which, in the final settlement, remains as a credit in favor of the business. In the case of Monotributistas, since VAT is not settled because it is an integrated tax, said settlement will not be detailed.
The user will also have the possibility of downloading the operation entered in .pdf format, if they wish to keep a record of their activities.
Informational tool
The user acknowledges and accepts that the data generated is for informational and indicative purposes only. The tool does not aim to establish final prices for any operation but rather to provide, in detail, the information that a business may need to define, by its own decision, the prices of the products and services it sells through the Now program promotions. Likewise, CAME is not responsible for the information provided by the system, its updating or its lack of availability.
