The “Second Furniture Week” arrives with discounts and promotions
Del 18 al 24 de septiembre más de 600 comercios adheridos de todo el país participan de la "Segunda Semana del Mueble"

From September 18 to 24, more than 600 participating businesses from all over the country join this initiative, promoted by the Argentine Furniture Institute (IMA), with the support of the Argentine Federation of the Wood Industry (FAIMA). An unmissable opportunity to renew each space, with the best offers, discounts, promotions, combos and thousands of Argentine furniture to choose from and delight in its designs, always valuing national wood and Argentine craftsmanship.
The Argentine Federation of the Wood Industry (FAIMA), through the Argentine Furniture Institute (IMA), invites the entire furniture industry in the country to join the next and second edition of FURNITURE WEEK. A week – from September 18 to 24 and throughout the national territory – that aims to promote, make visible and revalue nationally manufactured furniture, with the clear mission of contributing to training, value generation and innovation throughout the furniture production and commercial chain, promoting synergy between the parties and thus revaluing Argentine furniture. In addition, to boost sales and facilitate processes, this activity has the support of the Mercado Libre and Tienda BNA (Banco Nación) platforms.
How to know the promos?
The promotions will be available in all physical stores of the more than 600 businesses affiliated with the Argentine Furniture Institute (IMA), which can be located at the link: https://semanadelmueble.com.ar/tiendas-de-muebles/ There clients will be able to find firms such as: Delos, Selema, Orlandi Furniture, Duers Industries, La Esperanza, Springwall, Tiempo Furniture, Mehring, Karu, Ferrari, Genoud Furniture, Harmony, Wood Paper Desing, House Möbel, among other brands and manufacturers.
“At the initiative of FAIMA and also the commitment and conviction of a handful of leaders, we promoted the IMA, which seeks to revalue, make visible and promote Argentine furniture, transforming knowledge into good practices, both commercial and industrial, adding value, innovation and training to the entire industrial and commercial chain”, said Soledad Milajer, vice president of IMA. “We are aware that this second edition is being held in a challenging context for the Argentine economy, but we are committed to renewing the spaces in which we live, to give them new life, inspiration and, above all, to give the best destination to the investment available in national industry goods that positively drive the entire forestry and timber chain."
In fact, due to the success achieved in its first edition in 2022, where more than 600 businesses participated throughout the national territory and thousands of visitors took the opportunity to renew their furniture with the offers and promotions, we are already working together with the INTI to develop a seal for furniture of national origin, which allows them to be identified and differentiated from imported ones.. In this sense, for SMEs, artisans and furniture factories that wish to access this distinction, they must be evaluated in terms of production processes, the quality of raw materials, the calibration of equipment, the frequency and depth of training for staff and, especially, the general quality of the product, all in a context of a clear circular economy," the executive said.
Likewise, the IMA is working on the development of a Consolidated Statistical Observatory, which allows analysis, evaluation and monitoring of strategic variables of the sector to achieve a specific diagnosis of the situation of the furniture industry and market.
