As of April 1, Octavio Fonseca Alego, with more than 13 years of experience in Lenovo, will assume the position of general manager of Lenovo Argentina, happening to Juan Andrés Martín. During the last five years, Octavio led the B2B sales team in Argentina, achieving a growth of more than 40% and positioning Lenovo as one of the two main actors in the market.
In his first position within the firm, he worked as a consumer manager and then sales manager of the same segment, being responsible for the brand strategy, launching new products and sales to the final consumer. In addition, it has more than 19 years of experience in the sales and marketing area. Previously, Octavio formed his career in entities such as Falabella, Formats Efficient S.A and Wal-Mart. "I am excited to assume this new challenge as a general manager. My priority is Octavio Fonseca said Alego.
On the other hand, Juan Andrés Martín will rise to Chief Operations Officer in Latin America. With more than 25 years of experience in the sector, he demonstrated an outstanding history since he joined the company in 2013 as Director of Supply Chain for Latin America and as general manager of Argentina during the last 7 years. In this period, Lenovo positioned itself as the number 1 brand of the Argentine PCs market.
