The trajectory includes everything from speakers in the 60s to the current line of small appliances.

JAHRO, a brand created in mid-1962, is turning 60 years old. At the beginning, the company was dedicated to the manufacture of speakers that were sold exclusively to terminal electronics factories that assembled turntables, radios, mixers, audio equipment and televisions, among which its current managers remember brands such as Ranser, Ken Brown, Zenith, Barret, Rex-Son, Repman and Holimar, among others. Between the mid and late 1970s, the brand was also synonymous with the first 12” and 15” speakers, made with cast aluminum housings for professional use and used by sound engineers of the time in artistic and musical shows.

In 1994, the first national 18” speaker was manufactured with a cone imported from the United States and a flat wire coil, presented by the brand that same year at Electro Show 94. Since then, different products have been added such as passive speakers and loudspeakers, amplified and portable loudspeakers, acoustic systems, mixing consoles, stands, remote controls, microphones and radios, all with the JAHRO brand.

In 2020, they developed a line of small appliances consisting of electric kettles and stoves, citrus juicers, air fryers, and filter coffee makers, among others. “We have come a long way and today we are very proud of the validity and prestige we have earned,” the company said. “It is our duty to thank everyone who has supported us since its creation, during all these years, and we wish to continue along the same path with the work and effort always shown to make the brand more important day after day.”
