Getnet adds to its collection options new terminals (Get POS) that accept debit, credit and prepaid cards and that respond to the needs of SMEs and companies.

Getnet, Grupo Santander's collections and services solution, continues with its growth plan in Argentina with the launch of a new collection option: the Get POS terminals. This solution accepts debit, credit and prepaid cards, both domestic and foreign, and does not depend on a mobile device to function. It also allows the merchant to have sales accredited in 24 hours.

Getnet began its activities in the country in 2020 and in just three years, with new players in the market, it managed to become one of the leaders at the local level. It currently has more than 150,000 clients and a team that has already reached more than 100 people.

The Get POS are added to the alternatives that Getnet provides for both in-person and online payments, among them: the Device, payment link, API checkout, QR and integrations with virtual stores.

"Since Getnet landed in Argentina, 3 years ago, we had a very clear mission: to offer comprehensive collection solutions that enhance the sales of merchants, professionals and entrepreneurs. Today we are bringing to the country a solution for SMEs and companies with a complete value proposition that helps them increase their sales by offering installments, with low commissions and a customer service that accompanies them in their businesses," comments Leo Salovich, CEO of Getnet.

"This launch is a very important achievement for the entire company and brings us challenges to continue growing in the market. In less than 3 months we have more than 1 million transactions carried out with the terminals. We add an alternative that allows more people and companies to charge in a simple and secure way, with the support of Grupo Santander", adds Salovich.

Among the main features of the terminals, it allows the merchant to accept all cards (contactless, chip, magnetic stripe), receive money from sales in 24 hours, offer installments and plans now and issue tickets. The terminals have long-lasting batteries and 4G, 3G, GPRS and WIFI connections. In turn, through the Getnet Portal, customers can generate payment links to collect via WhatsApp or social networks and also access all the detailed information on their sales.

Getnet currently offers 100% of the rental cost subsidized for 12 months from registration and the first 30 days from registration returns commissions on sales made with debit cards with a refund limit of $5,000, taxes included, monthly total.

In addition, Getnet offers monthly different types of discount promotions and interest-free installments that can be consulted, among others, on its website www.getnet.com.ar, so that merchants can offer their customers the most appropriate solution and increase their sales.

Getnet is a PagoNxt company that brings together Banco Santander's payment businesses in a disruptive and innovative way. It focuses on three main businesses: Merchant Solutions for businesses, Trade Solutions for companies and SMEs, and Superdigital, a financial inclusion solution for individuals. Currently Getnet is the third merchant payment company in Latin America by number of clients and billing volume. It also has a presence in Brazil -where it is a leader in electronic commerce-, Mexico, Chile, Uruguay and Europe.
