The Argentine Services and Assistance company announced the appointment of Gabriel Depascual as General Manager. In his new role, the executive will be in charge of the commercial strategy, the development of new products and the search for continuous improvement so that the Blister Pack Assistance contracting process is more consumer-friendly.

Depascu assumes his new role alongside the launch of Blister Pack's 2021 strategy. “We will continue to work hard on our main strength, which is the link with our clients throughout the country, either through technological means as we have done during 2020, or in person – as we already did in the first months of this year – in the cities that the situation caused by the pandemic allows,” he commented. “Our goal is to always be in each location with our clients' salespeople, training them, advising them, and addressing their concerns so that they can better offer our wide range of services to consumers.”

"In addition to the recent appointment of Sergio Maldonado as Commercial Manager, we have added new resources and we are going to continue doing so to have a more solid team and thus be able to attend to all the needs of clients and the growth of the portfolio. We have clients who open more branches, so they require more attention, and we have incorporated businesses to our extensive list of points of sale throughout the country, to which we give the necessary support in preparation, start-up, training and monitoring," highlighted Gabriel Depascual. "In the first quarter we achieved strong growth in the marketing of assistance, aligned with our objectives. The challenge for the remainder of the year is to continue promoting sales, adapting to consumer situations and helping retail achieve these objectives."

As a consolidated player in the Assistance market, Blister Pack intends this year to take a new step in its commercial strategy, offering its services to insurance companies so that they can adopt home insurance policies in their respective offers. "With our Home Assistance, Technological Assistance, Health Assistance and Pet Assistance, among others, insurance companies will be able to offer their clients a quality service, with a quick response and with proven customer satisfaction, fully consolidated in the market. In addition, those who hire our services will be able to optimize costs that they currently have with other assistance companies," said Gabriel Depascual.

The new General Manager of Blister Pack will also be responsible for developing new Assistance to meet the needs of consumers and the development of technological tools so that they have an increasingly agile purchasing experience. "We have greatly developed the e-commerce channel and the use of cell phones through different applications to make it easier to contract our Services and Assistance. We will soon announce these developments," he anticipated.

Gabriel Depascual has been at Blister Pack for 7 years, serving as Commercial Manager until this appointment. He has almost 30 years of experience in the market, including 9 years as Commercial Manager at AON Warranty Services (later acquired by The Warranty Group), and previously 12 years at Carrefour Argentina in different positions, becoming National Purchasing Manager.
