BGH Consumer, the business unit of the BGH Group that develops, manufactures and markets home products with cutting-edge technology, was the company that increased its share the most in the Air Conditioners category during 2019.

“Our share in the air conditioner market has been increasing steadily since 2016,” said Daniel Rosenfeld, Executive Director of BGH Consumer. “This puts us in front of the enormous challenge of working to maintain this trend,” he added.

Rosenfeld also pointed out that "specifically in the Inverter Conditioners segment, we not only grew but are also leaders, with 16% of the market between our two brands. This puts us in front of an additional challenge, which is to continue growing in a segment that -clearly- will prevail in terms of volume compared to the traditional 'on/off' segment."

The Inverter trend in this type of products is consolidated in Argentina and the world. In the European community, 100% of the equipment sold has this technology, while in China, to cite another example, it reaches 80%. In our country, during the first season of its launch it reached 5% of total sales, and in just 4 years it reached 20% of the market.

Recently, BGH raised its bet in the category with the launch of BGH Silent Air Full Inverter 3DC, the most efficient air conditioner on the market (50% less energy consumption compared to a traditional on/off) and the first in Argentina to have three Inverter motors.
