Elit, a comprehensive wholesale technology company, continues to advance with its business plan, with special focus on the Gaming segment, working together with brands to expand and strengthen its product portfolio. In this way, he announced that the channel throughout the country will be able to access an expanded proposal in the segment, from leading brands, such as Intel, AMD, ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, ASRock, Thermaltake, Cooler Master, Kingston / HyperX, Crucial / Ballistix, Western Digital, Seagate, among others.
Asus e Intel
“The Gamer components market has been growing since 2019 and has not stopped growing in 2021, setting demand records, both for desktop PC upgrades and for new equipment,” highlighted Matías Strassera, Product Manager of Asus and Intel Elit.
In that same sense, Matías Strassera assured that Elit works daily with all the brands it distributes to satisfy the growing demand, with special focus on reaching every corner of the country with its wide range of products. Regarding specifically the lack of processors and video cards in the market, he highlighted: “We worked to offer customers combo packages with various combinations of compatible components to build PCs, offering in these cases purchase priority, in addition to promotional prices,” he emphasized.
HyperX
Emiliano García, Elit's HyperX Product Manager, highlighted the recent launch of a pink headset to the Cloud Stinger line for video games as the main novelties. “HyperX is trying to open the range more and transcend the gamer segment, incorporating as many users as possible,” he commented.
In addition, Emiliano García highlighted the black Cloud Stinger PC headset, which “is very accessible for anyone who wants to get started in the gaming area”; and the Cloud Stinger Wireless 7.1, which offers optimal audio performance and better sound quality for gaming.
"Our expectation with HyperX is that it consolidates itself as a leading brand in the country and reaches all users who are entering the gaming world, a segment that was previously more limited and is expanding today. We have the necessary stock to be able to achieve this," he said.
Logitech
Lucas García Vargas, Logitech Product Manager at Elit, reported that the brand is launching its Color Collection line, which goes beyond the color and white standards in headphones, mice and keyboards throughout the gaming line. "In addition to the traditional black and white, blue and lilac are being incorporated. The brand is putting special focus on its gaming line, and is presenting about 15 products per year. Logitech's objective is to continue developing the entire mouse line, where today it is the market leader, continue growing in keyboards and expand the product mix also in headphones," he said.
“Our expectation is to continue positioning Logitech among the top brands within Elit, not only in the gaming field but also in all the segments in which we work,” said Lucas García Vargas. In that sense, the PM highlighted that during the pandemic Logitech grew within Elit by 500%. "Today we are one of the two main distributors for the brand. We are recognized for our capillarity and Logitech is no stranger to this; in fact, we are one of the distributors chosen to channel the launches," he stated.
PRIMUS Gaming
This year, Elit is carrying out a much more exhaustive development of PRIMUS Gaming within its broad proposal to the channel. “We are expanding the brand's range of products: while at first we only had high-end products, now we have more accessible ones to cover the different segments,” highlighted Marcela Chiaradía, Product Manager of PRIMUS Gaming at Elit.
Elit currently has PRIMUS Gaming products for professional gamers and also for enthusiasts, compatible with both PCs and different game consoles. “Beyond the peripherals, we are incorporating gamer chairs – more economical models will be introduced in all colors in August – prioritizing not having stock shortages in order to keep up with demand and always strengthening ourselves with the capillarity that Elit has, which is fundamental for the brand,” concluded Chiaradía.
Trust
Although Trust is a relatively new brand in the country, so it has a lot of room to develop, in Europe it is No. 1. “The challenge we have for this year is to make it better known and continue on the path we started to travel, which has been very good,” said Nicolás Mondovi, Trust Product Manager at Elit. “It has high-quality mid-range and entry-level products; that is its main strength, along with the aesthetics and the price range, which offers wide options to consumers.”
Regarding news, the PM reported that gamer chairs are being introduced, including an innovative model with lighting as the main differential. “The idea is to accompany our business partners not only with the arrival of products but with specific actions to strengthen ourselves in the market,” commented Nicolás Mondovi. “Trust has the same philosophy as Elit: seed the market in the different provinces, and grow little by little so that later the largest clients can take the brand and function as a showcase for their products.”
