The Argentine Chamber of Computer Wholesale Distributors, Producers and Related Products (CADMIPyA) successfully announced the realization of the eighth edition of PULSO IT. The event took place on Thursday, October 17 and Friday, October 18 at the Costa Salguero Center, and was attended by 6,000 attendees.

The eighth edition of Pulse IT once again confirmed that it is the main technology exhibition in the country. Technology is the fundamental basis of all branches of activities and we especially want to highlight the added value generated by the knowledge industry in Argentina, based on two pillars: human talent and technology. Our contribution is to ensure that Technology reaches all companies, entrepreneurs, developers and the general public in the most accessible way.”He said Alejandro Boggio, President of CADMIPyA and general manager of Microglobal.

The fair not only attracted professionals from the sector, but also allowed attendees from the interior of the country to enjoy up close 50 training talks and business opportunities, as well as establish valuable contacts.

Despite the current economic situation, the President of CADMIPyA projects an optimistic future: We start 2024 with high stock levels and a large foreign debt; but with the elimination of SIRAs first, and then with different changes in the areas of Foreign Trade and BCRA regulations, the sector began to normalize. The first half of the year focused on paying off foreign debts and reducing inventories. Our suppliers, both foreign wholesalers and manufacturers, supported us in a context where foreign debts could not be canceled. Today that problem would be solved. Little by little, wholesalers and companies in the sector began to reduce stock levels and balance supply with demand. At CADMIPYA, we are convinced that the IT will have one year of growth in 2025”.

The most important brands in the IT market generated new opportunities and presented their latest developments. In different categories, the platinum sponsors stood out: ABB Argentina, APC / Schneider Electric, Banghó, Brother, Cisco, Dell, Epson, Lenovo. Among the gold sponsors are: Asus, HP Enterprise, NSX, Pantum and Ubiquiti.

In addition, other leading brands had their stands: Adata, Argomtech, Balanz, Crucial, CX, Eaton, Ezviz, Forza Power Technologies, Furukawa, G Fast, Hasar, Huawei, Jabra, Logitech, Lyonn, Maxell, Nubax, Samsung, 3NStar, Skullcandy, Soul, Targus, TP-Link, Verbatim, WD, Zebra.
