Grupo Núcleo announced its participation in meetings with investment funds in the United Arab Emirates, where it was invited by the national government – ​​along with other important Argentine technology companies – to present Innova Space, one of the projects promoted by its Neutron accelerator.

The invitation was given within the framework of the official visit to the United Arab Emirates of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship, Santiago Cafiero. The Argentine Government delegation was also made up of the Minister of Productive Development, Dr. Matías Kulfas; the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Lic. Daniel Filmus; the Secretary of International Economic Relations, Cecilia Todesca Bocco; and the Undersecretary of Knowledge Economy, María Apolito; and by Governors of the provinces of the Norte Grande of Argentina: Raúl Jalil (Catamarca), Jorge Capitanich (Chaco), Gerado Morales (Jujuy), Ricardo Quintela (La Rioja) and Gerardo Zamora (Santiago del Estero).

Mauro Guerrero, CEO of the company, participated on behalf of Grupo Núcleo – and its Neutron project accelerator – and presented the business plan of Innova Space, the revolutionary communication satellite constellation project that successfully launched its first picosatellite into space through SpaceX. In addition, the executive explained the work that Neutron is carrying out with 10 other technology-based companies.

The Argentine delegation had the opportunity to visit Masdar City, an ecological city located in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which will be supplied by solar energy and aims to be sustainable and self-sufficient.

Mauro Guerrero also visited Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), a high-tech ecosystem located in Dubai, considered the only technology park in the region that offers an integrated community that is both living and functional. “We shared a meeting and exchanged experiences with the Silicon Oasis authorities, in addition to working on generating agreements for Neutron and the startups that we accelerate,” he commented.

Finally, together with the Argentine delegation, Grupo Núcleo visited EXPO DUBAI, at the Dubai Exhibition Center – Plaza Al Wasl, where a tour of the national pavilions was carried out and work meetings were held, and then participated in the Official Ceremony for the celebration of the National Day of the Argentine Republic, in which Dubai authorities and Foreign Minister Santiago Cafiero offered a speech to all attendees.
