Core Group delivered 5440 3D Overlord printers (*) Pro+ of the Dfrobot brand (*) that have Intel technology, with the aim of bringing technical secondary schools throughout the country, the technological solution that takes special importance in today and will undoubtedly be a preponderant figure in the future of multiple industries. Following the Covid-19 pandemic, there was a turn in the use of these printers and, at present, they are working at full speed to face the virus. In the Malvinas Museum, 1000 of these teams granted to the Government are being used to print supplies and prevent contagion. The Overlord Pro+ are printing daily between 4000 and 7000 links for the manufacture of sanitary masks.

The teams that were intended for education, today collaborate in the health area thanks to their components that allow working fast and with quality results. One of the key components and for which this model of printers was initially chosen, are its integrated computers that do not depend on any external device to function.

This tool, developed by Intel, allows projects to be edited and model without the need for a desktop or notebook, this being one of the fundamental and differential components of the equipment. This feature allows each of the 5440 3D printers to serve either as a printer only, or as an individual work area. At the same time, this value differential can also be noted in how the design and printing process is streamlined. The 1,000 3D printers that are in operation in the Malvinas Museum have this technology and allow a more efficient and fast work.

The minicomputer integrated to the printers allows compressing on a touch screen of only 7 inches all its functionalities, which are of vital importance to be able to work the different projects, in this case the health items. The team includes an Intel® Atom® Mod processor. Z8350, Windows (*) 10 Home to different software such as Cura (*), 3D Builder (*) and Team Viewer (*), as well as Wi -Fi connectivity, Bluetooth (*) and HDMI and USB 2.0 ports.
