The WF-1000XM5 now features three microphones in each earcup, including dual feedback microphones that improve low-frequency cancellation performance. Newly developed by Sony, the V2 integrated processor unleashes the potential of the HD Noise Canceling Processor QN2e. The unique combination of technologies controls all six microphones, in both ears, to deliver unprecedented noise cancellation quality that automatically adapts to deliver the best performance in your environment.

Combining Sony's newly developed Noise-Cancelling Processor QN2e and Integrated Processor V2, the WF-1000XM5 headphones feature 24-bit sound processing and high-performance analog amplification. The result is low distortion and extremely clear audio reproduction.

The WF-1000XM5's noise reduction algorithm was developed with Artificial Intelligence (AI) machine learning using over 500 million voice samples to suppress ambient noise, increase accuracy, and extract your voice clearly in various environments.

Elegant and comfortable design

The WF-1000XM5 headphones feature an improved glossy texture and sleeker look that fits comfortably in your ears while isolating external sounds. After reducing the size of the headphones and optimizing component placement, the headphones are now approximately 25% smaller and 20% lighter than the WF-1000XM4. The size of the charging case has also been reduced so that it fits more comfortably in your pocket.

The noise-isolating tips of the headphones incorporate a unique polyurethane foam material that reduces noise in the high-frequency range. Soft and elastic, they maximize the contact area between the tip of the hearing aid and the ear canal, which isolates sound and reduces noise. They also improve adhesion to the ear canal for a more secure and stable fit.

The WF-1000XM5 features Auto Play, which delivers music and sound notifications when you need them. Music plays at your favorite times, when you put on your headphones or when you start a walk to relax, effortlessly lifting your mood. Notifications with sound remind you of all your important events so you don't have to take your phone out of your pocket. Made with the environment in mind

The WF-1000XM5 are made using recycled plastics from the automotive industry and their packaging is made with Sony's original biodegradable material, made from bamboo, sugar cane fibers and post-consumer recycled paper.
