Sony's highest resolution full-frame camera to date, the new Alpha 7R IV, delivers stunning image quality with high resolution and wide dynamic range, while maintaining outstanding focusing performance, high-speed continuous shooting and much, much more.

"Continuing our leadership in the Mirrorless segment and especially in Full Frame, the Alpha 7R IV represents the innovation that the professional market has been waiting for and that redefines technological barriers. A camera that combines the features of medium format cameras with 60.1MP without sacrificing the speed of up to 10 fps in the emblematic compact and lightweight design, and improvements in the dynamic range that adds up to 15 stops, guarantee a new photographic experience." commented Angelo Marconi, Regional Product Marketing Manager, Digital Imaging at Sony Latin America. “The needs of the photographic market, especially for all content creators, continue to evolve, as does this new camera, which increases its focus points up to 567 by phase detection, ensuring even more precise autofocus, and also incorporates on this occasion the acclaimed Eye Auto Focus (EYE AF) in real time for video recording, which, together with the possibility of digital Audio recording, complements any new way of working,” he added.

The innovations of this camera are:

· The world's first 35mm full-frame 61.0 MP[ii] back-illuminated[i] Exmor R™ CMOS image sensor with next-generation BIONZTM X™ image processor.

· 15-stop dynamic range[iii] at low sensitivities, resulting in smooth, natural gradations ranging from deep shadows to highlights.

· High-speed continuous shooting up to 10 fps[iv] with full AF/AE tracking for approximately 7 seconds[v] in Full Frame and approximately 3 times longer in APS-C mode.

· 567 focal plane phase detection AF points covering 74% of the image area and 425 contrast AF points.

· Introducing Real-Time Eye AF for video recording[vi] and Advanced Real-Time Tracking[vii], plus Real-Time Eye AF for still photo recording.

· It has an APS-C crop mode that offers an impressive high resolution of 26.2 MP[ii].

· 5.76 million-dot Tru-Finder™ OLED UXGA (Ultra-XGA) electric viewfinder with extraordinary detail, brightness and contrast.

· Improved connectivity and operability including support for high-speed Wi-Fi, wireless remote connectivity with PC[viii], wireless transfer via FTP, faster data transfer via USB and much more.

· Professional 4K video recording feature including full readout and no pixel binning in Super 35mm[ix] mode, S-Log3, HDR workflow support.

· The Multi Interface Shoe™ with digital audio interface offers high-quality sound recording with Sony's new microphones and XLR adapter.

· Additional improvements to the body design include an improved grip and button for improvised control with a compact and lightweight body.
