Sony announces the launch of the HT-A9 premium home theater system and the HT-A7000 flagship sound bar, delivering revolutionary new multi-dimensional sound experiences. HT-A9: multidimensional sound like never before

Feel sound from all directions with Sony's revolutionary 360 Spatial Sound Mapping on the HT-A9. With its Sound Field Optimization technology, it automatically and ingeniously measures the relative height and position of each speaker and synthesizes sound waves to create up to twelve virtual speakers from just four physical speakers, resulting in 360-degree sound.

There's no need to relocate furniture or place speakers precisely in the room. The HT-A9 uses dual microphones in each speaker to cleverly measure the venue, allowing the system to generate twelve virtual speakers and place them in their ideal position to fill the space with 360 surround sound. To activate Sound Field Optimization, enter Easy Setup from the home menu on your TV screen at any time. The four speakers connect wirelessly to the control unit so there are no speaker cables lying around the room.

The HT-A9 is designed with cutting-edge technologies to deliver the supreme sound quality that 360 Spatial Sound Mapping demands. The HT-A7000 sound bar will be compatible with Sony's 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology starting in March 2022. All you need to do is update the product's firmware, which will be done automatically as soon as the product is connected to the internet, and to enjoy it you must add a rear speaker (SA-RS3S), which will offer you a multidimensional sound experience never seen before.
