Sony announces the new limited edition of its WH-1000XM4 headphones in an elegant white color called “Silent White”, exclusive to the Sony Store, which have the award-winning industry-leading Noise Canceling technology2 that distinguishes this line. The new WH-1000XM4 model includes a pearlescent finish on the top layer of the headphones to give a bright and eye-catching appearance. With an extra coat of paint over the standard black and silver hues, these limited edition white WH-1000XM4 headphones are even more stain resistant while retaining their original appearance. Plus, all accessories are offered in the same color, so your carrying case and cables match perfectly.

Like the black and silver WH-1000XM4 model announced last year, this limited edition offers Sony's best noise cancellation performance by reducing high and mid-frequency sounds. This is achieved through the HD Noise Canceling Processor QN1 with Dual Noise Sensor technology that uses a new algorithm, plus a new Bluetooth® audio chip that adapts to noise, music and acoustic characteristics in real time. Thanks to Edge-AI and DSEE ExtremeTM technologies, it is able to more accurately reconstruct the audio lost during digital compression to provide a complete fidelity experience.

Impeccable hands-free listening experience

The white WH-1000XM4 headphones also feature a suite of smart technologies to create a perfect hands-free listening experience. For example, just start talking to automatically pause music with the Speak-to-Chat function or enjoy adaptive playback thanks to the proximity sensor and two acceleration sensors that detect whether the headphones are being used or not. Adaptive Sound Control intelligently detects where you are and what you're doing to adjust ambient sound settings for the ideal listening experience.

Wear them all day in total comfort

Like the other color options, the new version combines unique style with exceptional comfort and a very lightweight design. Designed for the frequent traveler, the soft ear cushions evenly distribute pressure and increase contact between the ear and the cushion for a stable and very comfortable fit.

The exclusive white WH-1000XM4 model will be available from September 30, 2021 while supplies last. Additionally, as part of the regular range, the Midnight Blue edition of the headphones will be available, which fuse the blue color of relaxation, stability and serenity, with gold details to provide a different style.
