Samsung Electronics announced its new premium smartwatches, which seek to position themselves as a gateway to health information powered by AI, transforming biometric data into practical and personalized recommendations.

By continuously monitoring health data from the wrist, these new watches act as an attentive health companion, turning daily vital signs into proactive, actionable information and providing timely alerts.”
Galaxy Watch Ultra2 — designed for high performance
- Single size 47 mm, in Titanium Silver or Titanium Gray colors
- 800 mAh battery (35% more capacity than the previous Ultra model)
- Brightest screen in the history of the line: 5,000 nits, for visibility under intense sun
- Shock-resistant titanium case, but 12% thinner than the previous generation
- Certified for professional diving (IP69K, 10 ATM, EN13319): Automatically records depth, time and water temperature when submerged. A dedicated app, Ultra2 Diving – developed together with the diving brand Mares – will add advanced functions at the end of the year
- “Trail Run” function for mountain runners (elevation, ascents, terrain impact) and “Nutrition Alert”, which estimates sweat loss and suggests when and how much to hydrate
- Specialized straps: Marine (lightweight and breathable), PeakForm (hybrid, sporty and stylish) and Trail (fabric, for demanding outdoor activities)
Galaxy Watch9 — designed for daily use
- Two sizes: 40 mm (Cream and Graphite) and 44 mm (Graphite and Silver)
- Lightweight aluminum housing with the line's signature padded design
- 390 mAh battery and 3,000 nits screen
- Interchangeable straps: Sports (thin and versatile), Misty (two-color premium silicone) and Fabric (lightweight, even suitable for sleeping)
AI health features (shared by both models)
Using the BioActive sensor, the watches offer:
- Vitals- Sleep monitoring with alerts for significant changes
- Heart Health Score- simple cardiovascular health score with recommendations
- Daily Cardio Load: training and recovery guide according to daily load
- Fitness Index- Fitness overview with personalized goals

Both models include 60 free days of Strava, the social training network with 195 million active users in 185 countries.
Availability
The two watches will arrive in Argentina at the end of August 2026.
