Royal Enfield Argentina launched the CLASSIC 350 and exclusively previewed the new SCRAM 411

One is a model with a design inspired by the iconic post-war motorcycles, which recovers its most classic roots; and the other, a casual and bold version designed for a dynamic, versatile audience, with a focus on urban driving.

Royal Enfield Argentina continues to add models produced in the country with the arrival of the brand new “Classic 350”, a motorcycle with classic essence and modern technology, a mix of history with passion for two wheels; and exclusively presenting the “Scram 411”, a versatile model with an urban focus that combines the DNA of adventurers with the authentic spirit of a scrambler; both officially presented at the 20th edition of the Autoclásica exhibition.

The models are produced in the plant that Grupo SIMPA S.A. It is located in the Pilar Industrial Park, province of Buenos Aires. Firstly, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 has a 349cc single-cylinder SOHC Euro 5 J Series engine, air and oil cooled, with a long stroke characteristic and an electronic injection system that produces smooth and manageable power combined with excellent torque. The fuel injection (EFI) system ensures linear power delivery from acceleration and throughout the entire rev range. It has a power of 20.2 HP at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm, associated with a five-speed gearbox.

For its part, and exclusively advancing some details, the Scram 411 will be an urban scrambler, attractive and accessible for the medium segment, which will stand out for being a powerful proposal, with good response from low revolutions thanks to its 411cc SOHC 4-stroke single-cylinder engine, with electronic fuel injection and air cooling. It will deliver a maximum power of 24.3 HP at 6500 rpm and a maximum torque of 32 Nm at 4250 rpm, coupled to a 5-speed box, and has an average consumption of 3.2 liters / 100 km.

Continuing with the Classic 350, heir to a long tradition, it is equipped with a robust double cradle type chassis developed by “Harris Performance”. Seeking comfort while riding, the front suspension consists of a telescopic fork, with 41 mm bars and 130 mm travel, while the rear is a swing arm type with double arm and two preload-adjustable shock absorbers with 88 mm travel. At the same time, it incorporates high braking power thanks to the dual-channel ABS brakes with floating discs and calipers signed by “ByBre” and the incorporation of a new module from the Bosch brand. It is equipped with 19″ front and 18” rear wheels, measuring 100/90-19” and 120-80-18” respectively, which achieve a great balance, providing comfort and tranquility to the royals.

Recovering a legendary model, maintaining its essence, and adapting it to new times with a new engine and equipment, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 has the ergonomics of a classic motorcycle, with a seat at 799 mm, with an upright driving position, which seeks comfort and ride comfort. As for the continuity of the Classic 350's retro fashion, the first highlights are its teardrop-shaped fuel tank with vintage graphics covered by side knee protection plates, its distinctive headlight combined with its curved sheet metal fenders, which together evoke the spirit of the classic British post-war motorcycles.

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is a classic model that is made up of modern elements such as the combination in the instrument panel of an analog speedometer with the functionality of an LCD screen and a USB socket under the handlebars for charging mobile devices. Additionally, you can add numerous original accessories that the Indian brand has prepared for its most classic model.

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 will be available in 3 versions and in various colors such as Gunmetal Gray, Desert Sand and Chrome Bronze, among others. Prices will start at $5,086; up to $5,469.

And he closed by emphasizing that "Royal Enfield expands its portfolio with a legendary and historical model and with an urban example, for those lovers of all-time motorcycles who want a very marked classic aesthetic with a lot of history or modern technology for current urban environments that are constantly changing."

Royal Enfield has a space of approximately 150 m2 at Autoclásica 2022, in the mythical “Motorcycle Quarter”, where it presents examples of the Interceptor 650, Continental GT650, Himalayan BS6 and Meteor 350, which, it should be noted, are models that are assembled in the country. At the same time, it displays vintage classics so that everyone can cross the timeline that this iconic brand with British origins traveled. In addition, all “royal” fans will be able to fully enjoy the different activities that the brand will carry out, such as the presentation of live bands.
