The company installed a series of products for water purification in retail

In August 2008, Leandro and Lucas Barrionuevo created Pura after adapting advanced technologies for the filtration of water for home consumption. The goal was to develop products to filter complex components such as arsenic and other heavy metals and provide healthy water anywhere.
For home retail, where they already market products, the company offers models that accompany a change in habits and highlights their innovative, sustainable and profitable characteristics, with exclusive designs and the possibility of co-branding alliances. “We are in talks with large retailers in the country, to reach more people,” the company said. “We want to be where consumers make their purchases and be a possible alternative to bottled water, with water available 24×7 without effort for transportation or space for storage or deposit or plastics.”

The products
Pura offers the Bali purifying jug with immediate filtration that does not require connection to the tap and eliminates 99.9% of compounds derived from chlorine and chemicals, retains bacterial cysts and reduces excess salts. It yields 1000 liters and must be replaced every 360 uses if used with tap water. The Pacific countertop purifier only requires changing the inner core every 40,000 liters or approximately 36 months, and avoids discarding up to 20,000 2-liter plastic bottles. Another product that the brand already sells in home retail is the Atlantic countertop purifier, which eliminates arsenic and also requires changing the inner core every 20,000 liters or approximately 18 months.
Other products from the brand are the reusable and thermal Honu bottle for up to 24 hours of cold and 12 of heat; the Pacífico undercounter purifier, which yields 40,000 liters without changing the internal core and the Atlántico undercounter purifier, with a yield of 20,000 liters until the core is changed.
