Philips among the best companies recognized by Ecovadis
In recent months it was evaluated on its sustainable practices, working conditions and for achieving positive change on a global scale.

EcoVadis, a platform that measures the risk and compliance of corporate sustainability actions, awarded the Gold Medal to Philips TV & Sound with a score of 79/100 points for the third consecutive year.
This new EcoVadis assessment reflects global sustainability data and initiatives, through TPVision. In particular, its progress has been boosted by the introduction of new gender policies, such as the “Women Empowerment Policy” and the “Third Party Due Diligence Program against Corruption”, along with new partnerships such as ITSCI in relation to conflict minerals. These efforts have significantly improved the score.
Based on this result, Philips is among the top 5% of companies evaluated by EcoVadis in the last 12 months and demonstrates a progress of 9 points compared to last year, with a distance of only 2 points from the platinum level, the highest award.
The EcoVadis platform is critical to managing ESG risk and compliance, helping companies meet their corporate sustainability goals and drive impactful performance improvements across the enterprise and value chain.
“Our race for a more sustainable world never stops and we are excited to announce that we have received our third consecutive gold medal” said Edgardo Folla, Marketing Manager of Philips TV & Sound. “While we know there is still much to do to improve our sustainability efforts, this achievement is a true milestone for the company.”
In Argentina, Philips TV & Sound (TPV), is dedicated to marketing Philips brand televisions, monitors and audio products (speakers, headphones and audio accessories), as well as AOC brand televisions and monitors, thus strengthening itself in the digital audiovisual entertainment market. For 35 years, it has had a factory in the industrial hub of Tierra del Fuego to supply the local market with state-of-the-art products.
