These wood chambers have joined together for the first time, to promote the growth of the sector; ASOMA arrives to present and finalize the new edition of the International Argentine Furniture Fair – FIMAR 2022 In-Person Expo.
Close to the 16th edition of FIMAR EXPO In-Person, CAMMEC (Córdoba), CAMAF (San Francisco), CEMA (Bs As), CAFYDMA (BsAs), CIMA (Cañada de Gómez) and Cámara de la Madera (Río Cuarto) combined their representation to constitute ASOMA and promote business by giving new value to the national furniture industry, which today encompasses multiplicity of materials (not only wood) but also aluminum, iron, polyethylene, paint, sheet metal, among others.
ASOMA is the representative entity of Argentine Furniture with a projection that transcends the sectoral to the social and political. Among its objectives are to generate ideas and organize activities so that the furniture factories in Argentina are the protagonists and are represented in their interests. The president of ASOMA, Lic. Gustavo Viano expressed: "ASOMA is the realization of an ambitious project that we have been expressing and sharing among colleagues from various chambers, today we are proud to present it in society, to defend and debate proposals, seeking to position ourselves step by step as an undisputed reference in the sector, which has been growing and incorporating multimateriality in our products. In addition, he added: "ASOMA's work agenda covers not only commercial and design issues, but also the incorporation of technology for the traceability of products, logistics and competitiveness issues.” These grouped manufacturers represent 80% of national furniture production.
