Motorola Solutions announces the appointment of Luciano Campolonghi as new Country Manager Argentina and Territory Director for the Southern Cone of Latin America (SoLA), a region that covers Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia and Peru. From this position, he will have the responsibility of leading the business growth and consolidation strategy in critical markets such as public safety, defense, mining, transportation and oil & gas.

Campolonghi is an electronics engineer, graduated from the National Technological University of Argentina and has more than 20 years of experience in the technology and telecommunications industry. He joined Motorola Solutions more than a decade ago, where he has held different roles in regional pre-sales areas, consolidating a strategic vision of the operational challenges of each market.

In his new role, he will be focused on driving adoption of Motorola Solutions' comprehensive ecosystem of security solutions, which combines critical communications, video security, command and control centers and managed services. In addition, he will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulations in each of the countries in charge, as well as strengthening the company's positioning as a strategic technological ally for public security organizations and private companies.
