The new laundry solutions feature LG's enhanced Artificial Intelligence Direct Drive (AI DD™) technology, proven steam technology and a host of features that make washing and drying clothes more convenient than ever.

With this new technology, LG devices offer personalized performance that can detect the load size, fabric type and soil level of a clothing item, automatically adding the correct amount of detergent and adjusting the wash style for optimized cleaning. The new washing machine incorporates steam technology, a tried and true method for getting clean, fresh clothes. For added user convenience, the Smart Pairing™ feature sends information from the washer to the dryer recommending the optimal drying cycle to eliminate most of the guesswork.

LG's first AI DD-equipped dryer model features a new AI cycle that adds precise motion control and automatically selects the appropriate settings for optimal fabric care and faster drying times.

It also allows the device to learn the user's laundry routine and preferences to offer personalized drying options every time. An infrared sensor accurately measures the temperature of clothes during the drying cycle and automatically makes adjustments to ensure even drying. Unlike other washer and dryer combinations, with the Bluetooth pairing function, both appliances can be controlled conveniently from the control panel of the washer.

The front-loading washing machine uses AI DD to deliver clean, fresh clothes, while the dryer takes advantage of LG DUAL Inverter heat pump technology to reduce energy consumption by drying at low temperatures throughout the drying cycle. Plus, with its lower overall height, it helps save space through a ductless design that requires less clearance from the back wall. The ductless design also saves owners the inconvenience of having to regularly access and clean the rear ducts.
