Smart lockers allow a 30% savings in logistics costs and a rapid retirement experience without waiting for the client. Movistar, Dexter and Unilever are some of the companies that offer this solution.
Boxeway launched a new platform for the management of smart lockers for the delivery of products, which encourages the automation of the logistics of the last mile.
This solution, called pick-up and drop-off 3.0, can be used by all companies regardless of size, adding the advantages of automated deliveries of packages, documents and products in eloockers, more simple and safely.
Development allows adapting times and alerts of operations in a 24/7 delivery format, consulting cabinet availability and checking eloockers map online in real time. It also provides detail of the deliveries and reception of products, with identification of operations that require biometric security, among other possibilities.
The new platform offers a very intuitive user experience for the monitoring and traceability of shipments and a ticket system for technical support. At present, this solution is used by retailers, telephone companies, logistics operators and municipalities in the region.
For example, the Dexter company uses them for product pick-up at MOOV by Dexter branches, to speed up the delivery of online purchases. Movistar, on the other hand, uses the lockers so that their customers collect their equipment, in this case, requests a signature on the screen and presentation of DNI to enable retirement.
"The architecture of the new platform has been feedback from all the years that Boxeway has operated and has managed Boxeway.
