Argentina recorded the highest sleep efficiency after the pandemic. This result comes from a study carried out with data taken from the Samsung Health application globally and linked to the brand's Galaxy Watches and smartphones.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, health has been prioritized around the world and this has translated into greater awareness of the benefits of resting and sleeping well.
Analysis using the Samsung Health app recorded changes in falling asleep and resting time during and after the pandemic.
Before the pandemic, people used to fall asleep around 11:58 p.m. and wake up at 6:54 a.m., while after the pandemic, sleeping time increased by a few minutes: from 12:00 a.m. to 7:02 a.m., but a decrease in sleep efficiency was recorded.
In Argentina, however, the results are different. The country ranks first in sleep efficiency registering 88.55 and followed by Italy (88.49), Germany (88.43), Spain (88.39) and France (88.36). In addition, we ranked second, behind Korea, in sleep duration, because we increased 16 minutes compared to before the pandemic. Argentines went from sleeping an average of 6 hours and 38 minutes to 6 hours and 54 minutes.
