Natalio Mario Grinman, president of the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services (CAC), presented Nicolás Braun, general manager of La Anónima, with the Fortuna 2021 award for the Best Retail Company.

During the delivery, Braun shared his words of gratitude. "Thanks to Editorial Perfil. This is a pat on the shoulder after these difficult years," explained the businessman and added: "I will share the award with everyone who makes up the company, thank you," he concluded.

La Anónima has more than sixteen branches in more than 80 cities in the country, a dozen distribution centers, more than 11,500 employees and export refrigerators.

The supermarket at the end of the world
The company is recognized throughout the national territory because it has more than a century of uninterrupted activity in Patagonia and the center of the interior of the country, which has led it to position itself as the fourth company in the sector nationally and the second under the Argentine flag.

In 1908, the companies of José Menéndez and Mauricio Braun joined together, giving rise to the company that began with general stores, ranches and its own shipping fleet. From the beginning, due to the length and complexity of the name, the inhabitants of Patagonia baptized the new company as La Anónima.
