TCL presents its SQD-Mini LED technology in Argentina with the C7L TV

The new televisions represent the highest level of the company's imaging technology by combining Super Quantum Dot, precise light control and an advanced optical system to deliver greater brightness, contrast and color accuracy. With this device the QD-Mini LED A400U and the QLED P7L also arrive on the local market.

TCL, world leader in consumer electronics and No. 1 brand in Mini LED and large format televisions, presents its SQD-Mini LED technology in Argentina with the new TCL C7L.

Aiming to revolutionize the market with a next-generation viewing experience, SQD-Mini LED It is presented as the evolution of Mini LED technology that seeks to achieve more precise light control and purer and more stable color reproduction.

The proposal combines TCL's Super Quantum Dot innovation with an advanced precise dimming system and a new Ultra Color Filter, to provide the best possible experience in the five standards that define a good television: image quality, sound quality, artificial intelligence, large format screen and design. SQD-Mini LED technology redesigns the Quantum Dot particles (Super QLED) and optimizes the purity of red, green and blue colors, achieving more intense and faithful colors even in high-brightness scenes, where conventional televisions tend to “wash out” the color.

The differential of the new C7L is precisely in its SQD-Mini LED architecture, which allows conventional local dimming to be transformed into zones of precise dimming and greater brightness, since it has a system of up to 2,000 zones in 98". In this way, the television can more accurately control the lighting of different sectors of the screen, achieving deeper blacks, more intense lights and greater definition in the details.

With an even slimmer design, the TCL C7L offers a wide and accurate color gamut, has an HDR brightness of up to 3,000 nits and a panel with low light reflection, which allows for high-quality images under different lighting conditions.

Thanks to its 4K resolution and native 144 Hz refresh rate, Game Master and Google TV, the television stands out as an ideal entertainment platform to enjoy movies, series and video games, with an immersive image and sound experience.

Color revolution + halo control

SQD-Mini LED technology represents a significant leap over QD-Mini LED, which already offers exceptional levels of brightness and contrast, allowing up to 100% of the BT.2020 color space to be achieved in all scenes, the standard for UHD televisions that allows for even wider and more accurate color reproduction.

This is possible thanks to TCL Super QLED, whose particles and structure were redesigned and improved to achieve more uniform light transmission, increasing color accuracy in the light points by 69%. The television panels also incorporate an Ultra Color Filter, which expands the range of colors reproduced on the screen by 33%.

In addition to color advancements, SQD-Mini LED enhances All-domain Halo Control technology, available on TCL QD-Mini LED TVs. The new technology incorporates more powerful light-emitting chips, a super-condensed microlens, a 26-bit light and shadow control algorithm, and a unique shadow-free uniform illumination LED support. All of this contributes to reducing the halo effect on the screen and allows for more precise dimming zones, improving the contrast and brightness of the reproduced image. In the user experience, this translates into sharper, halo-free subtitles, starry skies with deeper blacks, and sharper sports graphics on dark backgrounds.

Total immersion

Beyond picture quality, SQD-Mini LED TVs feature a premium sound system developed jointly by TCL and renowned audio equipment manufacturer Bang & Olufsen, which combines cutting-edge hardware with software to deliver an even more immersive sound experience. They also offer 4K resolution with a native refresh rate of 144 Hz, while, for gamer users who prioritize greater fluidity in fast-moving scenes, it is possible to configure a refresh rate of up to 288 Hz by reducing the resolution. Added to this are the TSR AiPQ processor, which improves image quality, and functions such as Game Master and Dolby Vision.

Together, these features make the SQD-Mini LED line a comprehensive entertainment platform, designed to enhance viewer immersion.

An AI that adapts to your needs

One of the main features of SQD-Mini LED televisions like the C7L is its artificial intelligence component, capable of improving the viewing and gaming experience. Through its agents, TCL's AI technology automatically detects the best visual and sound experience based on the environment and the type of content being played, whether it is a movie, animation or sporting event.

It also improves the gaming experience through better visuals and features such as Auto Low Latency Mode and VRR Game Accelerator, which help improve performance and user reaction times. AI can also generate images and works of art based on user input, in addition to serving as an assistant to collaborate during work presentations.

Availability and price in the country

The new TCL C7L is already sold in Argentina in two sizes: 75” at a suggested value of $3,399,999 and 98” with a price of $7,499,999.

“The arrival of the C7L represents a milestone for TCL in Argentina, because it is the first time we have incorporated our SQD-Mini LED technology into the local market. As leaders in screen development, our goal is to bring to local consumers the innovations that are transforming the home entertainment experience, combining state-of-the-art image quality with proprietary technologies and a design designed to integrate into everyday spaces,” he commented. Gustavo Vazquéz Gastaldi, Commercial and Marketing Manager of TCL Argentina.

Two other TV models complement the launch

Together with the new C7L SQD-Mini LED, TCL expands its television portfolio in Argentina with two new models that incorporate different image technologies to respond to different entertainment experiences.

On the one hand, el TCL A400U combine technology QD-Mini LED with a 1,344-zone precise dimming system, designed for greater lighting control, deeper blacks and sharper details. Reaches up to 2,500 nits of HDR brightness and has an HVA Pro panel, which improves contrast and reduces reflections. Its ultra-thin design is complemented by QLED technology, TSR AiPQ processor, artificial intelligence functions and 288 Hz VRR Game Accelerator, aimed at offering greater fluidity also during gaming.

In Argentina it can now be purchased in its 75" version for $2,999,999 in the country's main retailers. In the short term it will also be available in 65".

For its part, the TCL P7L incorporates technology QLED with Quantum Dot, capable of reproducing more than one billion shades of color and reaching up to 93% of the DCI-P3 color space. It has an AiPQ processor, TCL artificial intelligence and compatibility with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, to optimize both the visual and sound experience. Its slim, one-piece design, with a practically borderless screen, seeks to integrate the television naturally into the different spaces of the home.

This model will be marketed in the local market through the main retail chains in 55” ($1,099,999), 65” ($1,449,999), 75” ($2,299,999) and 85” ($3,299,999).

With the arrival of the C7L SQD-Mini LED, the A400U QD-Mini LED and the P7L QLED, TCL expands its television proposal in Argentina and brings different levels of image technology to the local market, combining innovation, design and entertainment for different needs and user experiences.
