IHA invites experts from the home furnishings industry to participate in its educational sessions

The Inspiration Theater program will present innovative ideas and practical tools for the home and appliance industry.

The International Housewares Association (IHA) announced the opening of the call for specialists in key topics that impact the home and household goods industry to submit proposals to participate as speakers at the educational sessions from The Inspired Home Show® 2026.
The event, which connects suppliers from more than 2,000 brands with buyers of more than 100 countries, will be carried out from March 10-12, 2026 in McCormick Place, Chicago.

“The industry recognizes The Inspired Home Show as one of the leading global exhibitions for home products and household goods”, he said Derek Miller, president of y CEO of HA. “But in addition to connecting retailers and suppliers, each year our educational program offers innovative and valuable content that makes the fair a key event for learning and growth in the sector.”

Specialists in current business trends and topics are invited to submit proposals to speak at the Inspiration Theater, the event's space for talks and training.

Possible topics include consumer behavior, marketing, display and merchandising, point of sale design, e-commerce, supply chain, intellectual property, strategic alliances and international opportunities. New for 2026, proposals linked to creators and entrepreneurs.

The sessions must combine an innovative look with practical tools to apply in business. The deadline for submitting proposals is December 1, 2025.

He Inspiration Theater offers presentations every hour during the three days of the event and complements the keynotes (Keynotes), which take place twice a day on the central stage. Participation in the educational sessions is free for attendees, and the presentations are recorded in audio for later online consultation.

The Inspired Home Show brings together more than 2,000 brands and 300,000 products with buyers from all over the world. Attendees from the United States alone represent more than 100,000 points of sale and a purchasing power greater than 64 billion dollars.

The 2026 edition will include five thematic exhibitions: Clean + Contain, Dine + Decor, International Sourcing, Travel Gear + Luggage y Wired + Well. It will also have attractions such as incubador Debut, the pavilions Global Design Points, the sample Pantone ColorWatch, and multiple spaces for networking and the business meetings.

As novelty, the event will present the SPLiCE Licensing Hub, a space developed next to the Society of Product Licensors Committed to Excellence, which will connect retailers and suppliers with brands interested in licensing agreements. In addition, they will return Pet Products Pavilion and the Candle Pavilion, which debuted in the 2025 edition.
