The 2023 edition will take place from Monday, May 8 to Wednesday, the 10th and will have more than 900 participating brands, of which 97 are joining for the first time. "It is a great satisfaction for the Chamber to see how an event that has been going on for more than 10 years continues to grow. We have expectations that it will be a successful edition," comments Gustavo Sambucetti, Institutional Director of CACE.

A new shopping habit
In 2012, the first edition of Hot Sale arrived as an initiative of the CACE with the aim of strengthening the electronic commerce industry. At that time, this event served as a boost to the sector, with areas such as tourism, household appliances and clothing as its main ambassadors. Today the scenario has completely changed, eCommerce has grown by leaps and bounds and Hot Sale accompanies this growth by positioning itself as the most important online offers event in the country.
According to the latest Annual Study presented by CACE, eCommerce has established itself as a purchasing habit: more and more consumers are making purchases every week and, in addition, the report recorded that more than one million people bought online for the first time in 2022. Both aspects give the pattern of an increasing preference for purchases through eCommerce.
The growth of eCommerce was accompanied by the evolution of its website: at first, it was a simple website where users could consult logos of brands that officially participated. Today, the website continually incorporates new features with the aim of improving the user experience. To avoid any inconvenience when making an online purchase and to ensure that it is not a fake page, it is important to consider entering the stores of the companies participating in the event through the official Hot Sale website.

User behavior
Another interesting fact that the Annual Study revealed has to do with the prior research that users do prior to purchasing, with prices and promotions being the most sought-after type of information. For its part, product information and payment methods become relevant in 2022. • Top star MegaOffers: As in the previous edition, once again users will be able to see the participating products with outstanding offers and not only the logos of their brands. In this way, they will be able to compare products from different brands and the best offers.
• Mega Bomb Offers: Once a day, during the three days of the event, special discounts will be announced in different categories at 12:00 noon. They will last one hour or until stock lasts.
• Featured content: In this section, the user will find a variety of visual content with explanatory text about featured offers. Everything at a glance and in one place.
• Most clicked: A ranking of the most popular products among users.
