Peabody's e-Termo is on display at the Museum of Latin American Art in Buenos Aires. It is one of the 600 objects exquisitely selected for the exhibition "From heaven to home. Connections and intermittencies in Argentine material culture" which proposes an essay on Argentine daily life through a selection of pieces in dialogue with our political, social and emotional imagination.

A series of thematic constellations articulates a journey in which things are grouped without chronologies, hierarchies, distinctions or disciplines, transgressing the limits of use and blurring the border between art and design. From Heaven to Home does not seek to propose a historiography of Argentine design, but rather an essay on life in common.

Forty years after the return of democracy in our country, From Heaven to Home tells different stories focused on the social nature of objects and their traces in our political and emotional imagination.

eTermo is a novel product that was presented to the national market in 2021 and that already has outstanding distinctions at the national level (Good Design Seal) and internationally (Ibero-American Design Biennial and Red Dot Design Award).

The exhibition was curated by Sebastián Adamo, Leandro Chiappa, Gustavo Eandi, Marcelo Faiden, Carolina Muzi, Verónica Russi, Juan Ruades, Martín Wolfson and Paula Zuccotti, and can be visited until June 12.

"I have the strong conviction that a product must be created not only with the personal identity of the designer but also with the imprint of the cultural identity of our society. Our e-Termo is a great example in this sense. Throughout the five years that its development took us, it was conceived as an added value for the user, designed to enrich the experience of use and the essence of the product is in the mate culture of Argentine society, a product that innovates the long-standing collective and social custom" remarked Dante Choi, president of Goldmund S.A., the company that owns the home appliance brand.

And he added, "Finding one of our creations exhibited with this character at MALBA fills us with pride and confirms that we are on the right path. Another milestone in the celebration of these first 20 years of company."
