DIBRA + HONDA: An Alliance based on Trust and Durability
Seiji Saito, today president of Honda Argentina after presiding over the management of Honda automobiles for South America and later Honda Chile, visited the DIBRA facilities and met with Walter Diaz, head of the leading national manufacturer of lawnmowers.
Both aforementioned authorities and together with Ezequiel Caracoche, Honda's Head of Sales, evaluated future prospects and reinforced their commitment to continue working together.
Honda Argentina and DIBRA maintain a bond that is strengthened every day. DIBRA manufactures various lines of lawn care products and one of them is powered by Honda engines provided by the Japanese brand's headquarters in the country.
The alliance goes beyond the provision of power plants and involves the two companies at another level, since Honda has awarded DIBRA the Powered by Honda brand for the identification of products together with the DIBRA brand.
For several years now, HONDA ARGENTINA has been placing its trust in DIBRA by incorporating its engines into a line of DIBRA Gasoline cutters and also by granting DIBRA the exclusive sale for the Retail Channel of the HONDA Productos de Fuerza line.-
The DIBRA Powered By Honda Nafteros models come mounted in stamped steel casings and with different configurations of functions such as collection bag, side outlet, high wheels, grinding system, casing washing system and 9-position cutting height regulator.
Regarding engines, we find 2 different versions of Honda: the GCV 160 with 5.5 HP and the GCV 190 with 6.5 HP. Both with silent timing belts that make the engine lighter and more compact with very little maintenance required. Easy start with automatic decompression system and low fuel and oil consumption. They also meet and exceed the European regulations for polluting gas emissions for combustion engines.
