The Mexican chain of department stores Coppel opens a mega local in the neighborhood of Flores. He landed in Argentina in April 2010 and with this opening adds 32 stores in CABA and Greater Buenos Aires. It has 1,300 employees.
The new store opens at Rivadavia 6546, the previous one was inaugurated in the Once neighborhood last July. Specialized in mass consumption, it offers from clothing, footwear, appliances and furniture. The key to your sale and growth are their prices, fees without interest and personal credit that they give to unchanged people.
Julián Magariños, director Coppel Argentina, said this year in an interview: "Coppel bet on Argentina, for continuing to improve the lives of our clients and collaborators. We had three mouths in CABA and the remaining ones are distributed in the south, west and north of the Greater Buenos Aires."
In 2020 they decided to launch an online sales site and allowed them to get out of CABA and Buenos Aires where they have premises. "During this first semester of the year we have seen a marked increase in the consumption of the categories that we sell. At some times, the demand beats the supply. Throughout the pandemic we had to launch our website in record time that was a success and allows us to sell to the whole country."
As in Mexico, the goal is to grow on the online channel and continue with the opening plan. The next opening will be in Moreno, just a few days before Christmas.
