VTEX, the global Digital Commerce technology company, is preparing for one of the most significant dates for eCommerce. This is the sixth edition of the Hot Sale, 3 days of online discounts, which will take place between May 14 and 16.

With the difficult situation that Argentina is experiencing at the moment, a day of online discounts can greatly benefit the economy of consumers. But how can we get the most out of one of the most important promotional events of the year?

VTEX recommends:

The first thing the buyer should do is identify in advance the product they want to purchase, and compare prices in more than one store. This way, you can identify if the offer is real and suitable.

Consumers should always look for the official website to avoid falling into opportunistic places that are not part of the official CACE initiative www.hotsale.com.ar.

Be on the lookout for the “Bomb Mega Offers” that will be published exclusively at three times of the day on the official event site.

Before finalizing the purchase, verify not only that the product is in stock, but also what the shipping conditions and times are.

The Hot Sale, one of the two most important eCommerce events in the country organized by the Argentine Chamber of Electronic Commerce (CACE), will feature in this sixth edition more than 500 participating brands that will offer their discounts in 10 different categories.

Marcos Pueyrredon, Global Vice President of VTEX for the Hispanic market and President of the Latin American Institute of Electronic Commerce eCommerce Institute, stressed that "the Hot Sale is the Grand Prix of the first half of the year; a massive and historic event of online opportunities and discounts for more than 400 companies that achieve 1, 2 or 3 months' turnover in just one week."

“With this event we seek to encourage consumption, giving users the opportunity to advance purchases, or buy what they wanted or needed but were unable to purchase due to its high price,” added Pueyrredon.

This year there are 80 companies that join for the first time, 26% more than in the previous edition. More than 60 are companies located in the interior of the country, among which the province of Córdoba, Mendoza, Santa Fe, Tucumán, among other places, stand out.

The available categories will be the following 10: Electro and Tecno; Trips; Furniture and Deco; Clothing and Footwear; Sports and Fitness; Food and Beverages; Cosmetics and Beauty; Babies and Children; Automotive; Several.
