Largely dependent on the movement of the automotive industry, car audio makes up a stable market, today subject to complications in the supply of products and with delays, in relation to other markets, in the incorporation of technologies such as screens. The Argentine user continues to prefer the classic stereo, with a removable front, partly for safety and also for price. In this general business framework, suppliers continue updating lines and catalogs and accompany a replacement demand whose fate also depends on the evolution of the macroeconomy.

Philco

PHILCO CCP810 It has 50 watts x 4 power, AM/FM stereo digital tuner, Bluetooth technology with hands-free function and built-in microphone to answer calls, MP3 player, USB input and auxiliary input. Installation is easy, the front is removable and includes a kit with instructions to install it. Other features of this model: SIM card slot, 3.5 mm auxiliary input, 30 programmable memories, digital antishock system and high contrast LCD display.

Newsan maintains Philco as a traditional and historical brand in this category, with a participation in retail that, according to Damián Martins, head of Product, exceeds 35%. “We adapt to today's consumer and offer quality products in a market that maintains a purely replacement profile that in Argentina has not yet mutated towards products with greater technology, although we are attentive to that happening at some point,” Martins explained, referring to the fact that in some countries in the region, equipment with screens was established more firmly than in our market. Both Philco and Noblex have a model on the market that corresponds to what, according to Martins, 85% of consumers demand: removable front and Bluetooth connectivity. Philco's line of speakers was renewed this year, always offering a combo of the two units for the doors and the 6 x 9 for the rear window.

HDC INTERNATIONAL

HDC International's main brand, BOSS Audio System, offers a wide variety of products that highlight the excellent relationship between price and quality. The portfolio includes stereos, speakers, subwoofers, amplifiers, complete systems for the car and the Marine line, for boats. “For the most demanding consumers, we work with the Rockford brand, which from the beginning specialized in the production of speakers, subwoofers and amplifiers with a quality that we consider superior,” said Juan Ignacio Bolinaga, in charge of product development. "The products with the greatest demand are the most economical single DIN and double DIN stereos, with Bluetooth and removable front and the 6.5" and 6 x 9" speakers. The company highlights the BOSS 632UAB single DIN stereo with Bluetooth, removable front, USB input + SD card + Auxiliary, FM/AM radio and 50 watts x 4 power; the 6"x9" BOSS CH6930 3-way, full-range speaker, 400 watts of maximum power, 2” midrange and tweeter and the BOSS CXX12 12” single coil subwoofer with 1000 watts of maximum power and 4 Ohms of impedance.

B52 / TARGA

Someco Electronics and B52 offer the DMM-9020bt multimedia stereo, with a 6.2" LCD screen, MP3, WMA, WAV and FLAC player from a USB/microSD card. It plays video and has rear and front camera video input, automatic memory storage function and preset electronic equalizer for pop, rock, classical, jazz and flat. It comes with Bluetooth connection and subwoofer line output. The ELK-6321 BT model digital player is an MP3 player plus two speakers. It plays from USB/SD and has a removable front, alphanumeric display with level indicator, output power of 208 watts, automatic Store Preset memory and Bluetooth. The 4-way 6.5” speakers have a maximum power of 500 watts and a nominal power of 120 watts per pair. Under the Targa brand, the company offers the Tag-5018 and Tag-6018 stereos and the TG-6920, TG-6520 and TG-5020 speakers. The Tag-5018 has a detachable front, Bluetooth technology and allows the playback of MP3 files from a USB / SD card. LCD screen has power level meter with 30 preset stations (12 AM and 18 FM) and electronic preset equalizer for pop, rock, classic and flat. The TG-6920 speakers have a maximum power of 700 watts per pair and sensitivity of 90dB. They are 6x9 inches with 4-way playback.

JAHRO

JAHRO presents its car audio line with several models of speakers, among which the JH-1603 and the JH-1623 stand out. The JH-1603, 6" and 3-way, has a mylar dome tweeter + piezo tweeter, power of 350 watts and impedance of 4 ohms. The JH-1623, 6×9" and 4-way speaker, incorporates a midrange and mylar dome tweeter + piezo tweeter. Its power is 600 watts and the impedance is 4 ohms. The entire line of speakers comes as a pair and includes grills and installation accessories. The company complements this line with two stereos, of which the JH-346 stands out with Bluetooth, control function via mobile application, USB/SD input, auxiliary input, AM/FM digital radio, memory for 30 stations (18FM/12AM), electronic tuning system, MP3 support, folder search, LED display with 7 colors to choose from, 45W x4 power output, remote control, removable front, front case and equalizations for jazz, pop, rock, class and flat.

CARTRONIC

Daniel Mendoza, director of Cartronic, representative in the country of Kenwood and Positron, recognized the complication, since last year, of working for the equipment of imported vehicles, a segment with very low demand because there is no stock of vehicles. “The car audio market accompanied this situation, because there is less demand and at the same time there is not much supply,” he said. Cartronic is betting on Positron today with a line that is manufactured in and for Brazil, and although the manufacturing level dropped there and production is absorbed by the local market, there is a remainder that, although scarce, allows it to supply part of the demand of the Argentine market. “Personal users migrate towards multimedia at the expense of low-end lines and demand screens and connectivity with devices to listen to streaming music,” added Mendoza. "Positron offers that with products ranging from 25,000 to 80,000 pesos at the top of the range, an interesting price level for a brand with an after-sales guarantee that second brands cannot provide. That is why last year Positron's share rose, helped by top brand products that, due to price, were far from the middle class user.
