CAME: really Alfredo González
The Chaco businessman, Alfredo González, was unanimously re-elected as president, a position he has held since August 2021.

The Argentine Confederation of Medium Enterprises (CAME) held its Ordinary General Assembly, in which 158 associated entities participated. The Chaco businessman, Alfredo González, was unanimously re-elected as president, a position he has held since August 2021.
“We are going to deepen our work in pursuit of the real economy of each of the more than 600,000 SMEs that make up our entity,” said González and announced that his management will focus on achieving greater access to bank credit for small and medium-sized companies, and on advocating for a modernization of labor relations that does not imply the loss of acquired rights for workers and for the tax system.
In relation to the latter, he pointed out: "We must generate a real debate in the National Congress for an Argentine tax system. Tax anarchism makes growth unviable due to the great tax pressure. It is impossible to be competitive, it is impossible to continue generating companies. Almost 46 thousand SMEs have been lost from 2011 to date. This is reflected in the great informality that exists and in unemployment."
On the other hand, regarding labor legislation, he highlighted that "the technological advances in the world force us to rethink the way in which businessmen and workers are linked." And he added: “There is a generation of new workers who are not interested in being within the work formats created in the 1970s.”
Finally, regarding financing, he expressed that "SMEs are used to living with what we have, but there are no prospects for economic growth for any company if it does not have access to bank credit."
It should be noted that among those present were the general secretaries of the Argentine Federation of Commerce and Services Employees (FAECYS), Armando Cavalieri, and that of the Argentine Union of Rural Workers and Stevedores (UATRE), José Voytenco. Both unions are equal with CAME in the sectors of commerce and services and regional economies.
