BGH ECO SMART, the BGH group business unit that markets products and solutions related to professional air conditioning, heating and sanitary hot water, and Lighting, presented together with Schréder the latest products in commercial and residential lighting, and the current trends of said market.
The event brought together specialists from both companies; Inti representatives, technological organism with presence throughout the national territory; of the UTN, National Technological University; and to different referents of the sector.
"Constant training is what we call BGH lighting school. Our idea is to provide value and knowledge to raise the product standard thinking in the long term. Technical and commercial support, energy efficiency projects and IoT solutions are part of the integral offer we provide to meet all needs," said Patricio Pierandrei, BGH product manager.
During the technical presentation, Eduardo Yasan, head of the Luminotechnics Department of Inti, commented: "Argentina has a great diversity of LED luminaires with respect to what is expected for a luminaire of public lighting and of quite high levels of efficiency. Practically, it is up to the last innovations that exist worldwide." He added: "In the case of a luminaire of sodium technology with high discharge that has an acceptable efficacy quality, we are considering between 50 or 60% below consumption to achieve the same levels of lighting."
Then, Fernando Deco, a specialist in visual environment and efficient and teacher lighting of the UTN, spoke about the concept of Human Centric Lighting, that is, lighting based on different human needs. "It is necessary to start" modeling "the spectral composition of artificial light in search of an activating or relaxing effect on the body," he said.
For its part, María Castillo, a specialist in urban projects and sustainable lighting of Schréder Argentina, highlighted the importance and scope of the European company signed with BGH in 2018. “Argentina is not different from any of the countries where we have a presence. Our work is to generate awareness: make people understand that when we make lighting we have a responsibility with people,” he concluded.
