The Government, in collaboration with Banco Nación (BNA), will launch two new credit lines and interest-free installments with the aim of promoting energy efficiency in homes, SMEs, businesses and industries, and thus reduce energy consumption.

These initiatives will allow the purchase of household appliances through five-year loans with a fixed rate, available to both individuals and companies. Additionally, 24 interest-free installments will be offered through the BNA store for lower-cost operations, in order to promote more efficient energy consumption practices and mitigate the impact of recent rate increases.

The official announcement about the launch of the new line of credits for appliances is expected to be made later this week.

5-year loans and purchases in 24 interest-free installments

The new credits and payment facilities offered by Banco Nación will allow you to purchase a variety of appliances such as air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators and stoves, among others.These loans will have a maximum limit of up to $15 million and will be available both in a 5-year credit format and in purchases with 24 interest-free installments.

For industries, businesses and SMEs, the credits may be extended for up to 10 years and may also be used to make replacements that improve energy efficiency. Access to these financing lines will be available through Banco Nación's in-person and virtual channels.

Although the exact interest rate has not yet been detailed, it was reported that loans intended for residential users will have a rate 2 percentage points lower than that applied to SMEs and industries.
