ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced the global launch, without availability for now in the Argentine market, of the ROG Phone 5 series gaming smartphone, with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G mobile platform. The new series features improvements to the touch screen, cooling system, battery performance and AirTrigger 5 control system and maintains the ROG built-for-games design philosophy, which takes the smartphone gaming experience to another level.
Harnessing the power of Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, which includes industry-leading innovations in 5G, artificial intelligence, gaming and camera technologies, and with the Snapdragon Elite Gaming platform allows gamers to enjoy ultra-smooth gaming power with the highest possible levels of HDR quality. Qualcomm Game Quick Touch technology offers up to a 20% increase in touch responsiveness and lower latency, with a 35% increase in GPU performance and a 25% increase in CPU performance. Even the most demanding 3D mobile games run smoothly with maximum settings. To extend screen time and the life of the 6000 mAh battery, the ROG Phone 5 was optimized with software updates and power saving mechanisms, including an upper charge limit, constant charging, improved scheduled charging and passive power saving mechanisms to deliver up to 67% more savings.
