The mobile phone company Alcatel presented this Tuesday a new device with the aim of repositioning itself in a competitive Argentine market disputed between Samsung and Motorola. The Alcatel 3X model, which emerged as a result of the agreement between the licensee TCL and Radio Victoria of Tierra del Fuego, has a triple camera module and outstanding features for an entry-level phone.
The product has a 6.52-inch immersive screen and HD+ resolution that delivers 16 million colors with a 20:9 format. It is the first of the line with the “notch” effect that houses the front camera. All this means that the new Alcatel 3X has an unprecedented image width due to the screen-to-body ratio of 89.24%.
Regarding dimensions -164.85 x 75.8 x 8.39 mm-, Alcatel 3X features a 2.5D glass finish on both sides that fits perfectly in the palm of your hand. It integrates a 3.5 millimeter jack port to continue listening to music with wired headphones.
Inside it comes equipped with a MediaTek Helio P23 eight-core (octacore) and 16 nanometer processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage to install applications or store data, with the possibility of expanding up to 128 GB thanks to its Micro SD card slot.
Finally, it integrates a 3.5 millimeter jack port to continue listening to music with wired headphones.
This is the fifth launch of the brand this year, which markets the equipment to both operators and retailers. The 3X model is the first in the family to have three cameras and an opportunity for those who hope to enjoy the effects of photography, even in adverse lighting conditions.
The cameras, the differential
The triple camera offers several functions for those users looking for a cell phone with high performance in image capture, offering wide angle, real-time blur, night video, scene detection with artificial intelligence, panoramic photography and HDR.
The first of its cameras is 16 MP with scene detection capacity thanks to the contribution of artificial intelligence provided by its MediaTek processor; It is also capable of automatically adjusting all camera parameters for 21 different scenes even in low lighting conditions.
While the second is an 8 MP wide angle that offers a 118-degree field of view for longer range shots.
While the third, 5MP, is ideal for working on depth and the popular blur effect (bokeh).
